We have stayed at this hotel many times. We won't be returning. They have replaced 24/7 coffee and lemonade with pay for service breakfast. There is good one cup coffee in the room, they could have averted my concern upon checking in if they had told us this. Even though we had four nights booked two points, two paid we weren't offered any breakfast coupons or information. It was the lowest grade room we had ever stayed in here. Two double beds that were low grade wiggly beds. The room was very clean. The pool area is a very njce garden area. We had issues getting and finding out where towels were at poolside. After the two points nights we were locked out and had to go back down to get the key reconfigured, late & exhausted. You have to relogin each day for wireless. The in room air conditioner is noisy. The business center looks improved. « less

Thank you Kathleen C for your most recent review. About 3 years ago the brand began a transition into what they call Refreshing Business, which as you have seen firsthand, included The Bistro. By the end of 2014 all Courtyards will have been renovated and transitioned into this new look. It is a major change both physically and philosophically and I can understand how it came as such a surprise. I am sure over time you will learn to appreciate the need for the change as other brands begin to emulate the model and update with the evolving needs and wants of the new traveler. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive since its inception but we also know there has been and will continue to be some defectors as we move along, I just hope we don’t add you to this list. Please contact me the next time your travels bring you into Ft Lauderdale, as I would like to set you up with breakfast on me, a dish that I am sure will help you quickly forget about the lack of a buffet. I thank you again for taking the time to respond and I hope to hear from you soon.

As the title of my review suggests, this Courtyard has had the recent upgrade to lobby, courtyard, and rooms. The rooms are still normal Marriott rooms but since they are new they are cleaner than the normal hotel. Check in can be a little slow however the customer service is very good here. The airport behind the hotel can be noisy but seems to quite down around 8pm. The big draw for me in the location of this hotel. While not real close to anything exciting it is relatively close to a lot of stuff. The beaches and Las Olas area is only about 15 minutes. It also sits between the turnpike and I95 so travel is pretty easy. For a local place to eat/have a beer The Briney or Bother Tucker's at the end of Atlantic by the beach are good bets!! « less

Thank you PV4u2nv for your recent review of our newly renovated hotel. As a discerning traveler such as yourself, I imagine cleanliness and service are taken quite seriously, which is why I was thrilled to learn of the high marks you gave us in both areas. I was sorry to learn though that you experienced some noise issues and hopefully we will have the opportunity to welcome you back to the hotel and we can find a more suitable room for you. Thanks again for taking the time.

Ok....Lobby & cafe is obviously recently rennovated and nice. Took a bit of time to check in with only 1 on duty.....similar issue at 10pm when trying to purchase a water. Room was fine ( on 2nd floor)...had been advised could be loud if you were facing Cypress Creek.....A/C was a bit noisy but i sleep with fan at home so actually was fine with me.......Cafe Staff made this VG vs. Average! They were great and helpful for AM breakfast. Starbucks available and French Toast exceeded expectations. Cafe staff was very friendly, fast and efficient. If back in area for business, would stay again but would want room on back side. « less

Thank you J L for the recent review of the hotel. I was thrilled to learn that you found the renovations appealing and was most excited that you enjoyed The Bistro and our new concept. We go to great lengths to make sure we have the best people working for us so that our guests receive the best service, and from what I read, it appears we succeeded. Excellent choice on the French Toast by the way, it is a guest favorite. We hope to welcome you back soon and will be sure to put you in a more convenient room. Thanks again.

The lobby and ammenities are wonderful. Small cafe, with Starbucks, bar and food. They offer a happy hour with very comfortable booths/tv area. Nice gathering areas for meeting outside your hotel room for group settings. Pool area very nice with fire pit, no jacuzzi. The rooms were comfortable, clean and appeared to be well taken care of. I would recommend this Marriott it is close to Broward College and eating establishments. Las Olas is a great tourist area when visiting and is about a 15 minute drive. « less

Between the noisy A/C and fridge, you might invest in earplugs. Low end coffee but nice shampoo. Towels are so thin and small. Room is spacious and bed is comfy but nothing glamorous. Ladies be advised - parking is behind the hotel primarily and walking in at night is a little creepy. Clean but small pet peeve - if I close the curtains, please leave them closed. Giant microwave may be handy for you - I suggest you throw a towel over the glaring green controls before bed. « less

Thank you Cindy M for your recent review of the Courtyard by Marriott Cypress Creek. We appreciate any and all feedback and we take each and every review very seriously, it is the only way we can ensure we are getting better everyday. We are currently in the process of replacing every AC unit, so hopefully within the month we will have them throughout the entire hotel. And thank you for bringing the noisy fridge and bright light to our attention, I was unaware that these were such an issue for our guests and will have them addressed immediately. We appreciate your candidness and hopefully the next time your travels bring you back to the area, you will look us up once again. Happy travels!

"The web site was of tremendous value in identifying and securing our hotel. It's like having our own personal travel coordinator." S.J. - Detroit, MI
"Our group has done this weekend away for 10+ years always in the Napa/Sonoma area in the Spring. For the past 3 years we have stayed at the same location in Sonoma. This year I used your site to try to find a different and more reasonably priced location. Not only did I find a fantastic hotel in a great new location, I save $100 per night over last year's room fee." J.F. - San Francisco, CA
