This hotel is a good value, but there is nothing remarkable to it. The upside is the reasonable price if you're willing to put up with a few items. We were hoping to use the pool, but is was not available at the time. The lobby had a huge odor of air freshener which signified to me that they were trying to mask a mildew smell that I did also notice. The staff was very friendly. The carpet in our room felt soapy when I walked on it barefoot. My guess is that they either recently cleaned it or poured some of that sprinkle & vacuum product over it. The breakfast was pleasing, but again, nothing special. I wouldn't go as far to say, "Don't go," because the room was reasonably priced, but the next time I am in the area, I'll try something else first. « less

We only stayed here one night, but it was close to where we were visiting, so it worked great. It was reasonably priced and the staff was great. My only disappointment was that they didn't heat the cinnamon rolls. I always look forward to breakfast at HI Express locations, particularly the cinnamon rolls, so that was a letdown. That's a minor issue, however. I would definitely stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. « less

Our daughter attends college in Worcester so we're there a couple times a year. This is the third hotel that we've used. We'll definitely be staying here again. It's only a few miles (easy drive) from campus. It's very clean, inside and out. The employees are efficient and friendly. The rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. The rates are reasonable. It's been difficult to find a hotel in the Worcester area that meets our criteria for cleanliness, comfort, and location without spending a lot of money, but this one does. « less

Booked this online as we were traveling south to help our friends celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in Webster. We checked in easily with friendly desk staff. Took the elevator to our third floor room. Looked it over then headed to our destination. Returned around midnight and had to use our room key to enter for extra security. Headed upstairs to relax a bit before hitting the sack. Lots of channel choices and very good wifi. Fell asleep fast on the comfy bed with lots of pillows. Took my shower around 9:00 and it started off strong and hot. It stayed hot, just not strong the entire time. Gathered our belongings and headed for the breakfast bar. Not too crowded but got busier. The toasters were very slow and it took three rounds for my English muffin to brown. There were biscuits, bagels, Danish, muffins, breads, cereal, pancakes on a conveyor, eggs, fruit, juices and coffee. Not bad and would stay here again. « less

However, I am so sorry about the toaster....it definitely saw it's last days and we went out and replaced it!
