This hotel is brilliantly located right off the metro with direct lines to most places which is why we picked it for my wife's birthday getaway. We had a club room over the courtyard so there was no noise problem and the room was spacious and very comfortable. Friendly helpful staff and the concierge was excellent at recommending somewhere special to eat and in making the reservation. Having said that there is a huge choice of brasseries and other eateries in easy walking distance. There are a few tiny niggles - like the old cigarette burn in the sofa but otherwise excellent and we will be back there next time we are in Paris « less

Very friendly staff, but I must metion Samir and Christopher who were great...EVERY hotel should have a Samir. I stayted there alone and they were always great when I came to dinner or to the bar to have a beverage. Location is close to Gare du Nord, with a station very close by along with a Habitat (one of my favourite stores) Would definitely stay here again... « less

This is a lovely hotel, very friendly concierge who will tell you whatever you need to know. The hotel is surrounded by building works but as we went at the weekend this wasn't a problem, imagine it would be noisy Mon - Fri. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and bars, where you an get a set menu of 3 courses for 19 euros. The concierge will sell you a ticket for a tour bus which you can get close to the hotel - I wouldn't advise it. It's called L Open Tour, it's rubbish, the commentary doesn't coincide with what you are seeing, lots of the same french music and didn't do justice to getting a tour bus. Only problem with the hotel: - Had a family room, which was lovely, very big and classy, it was for 4 people, there were only 2 cups, 1 dressing gown. Not enough tea, coffee etc, when we asked for more it was very difficult to get it. « less

We stayed for 5 nights at beginning of May. Room was nice and perfect for our trip. Sheets and towels spotlessly white. Room kept very clean. Conceirge was extremely helpful and pointed us to a nice little restaurant on the night we arrived, only a short walk away. It is in a very useful location very close to a metro station. Seeing many beggars was a bit distressing but nothing to do with the hotel, Paris seems to have a lot of beggars, flower and eiffel tower sellers. We had a great time and feel the hotel was a good choice as it was so convenient for the metro and was very clean and comfortable. Would certainly stay there again. « less

Good location and close to the metro and the Gare du Nord. Clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. However there were a few issues that should be raised:
1. If you want to connect to a WiFi (ethernet cable supplied) you will have to hand over 28 EURO for a days use - I would expect a hotel which is claiming to be 4 star to offer this service as part of the price.
2. Hotel mini bar rather expensive - Small can of Heineken roughly 9 euros!
3. The water in the bath wasn't draining very quickly - bathrooms are fairly dated - could do with a refurb. « less
