We traveled to Portland, OR from San Jose, CA, 13 very long hours, we were exhausted And traveling with a very large (140) pound service dog. The hotel is not pet friendly but when we explained that he is a service dog and that we needed to be on the ground floor, they were over the top helpful and got us in a room within minutes. The room was large and the bed was fantastic. Breakfast was included and not your usual continental breakfast, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy and really good coffee. We will defiantly stay there again! « less

This hotel is conveniently located off the interstate, but only a short walk to great bars and restaurants and about 5 blocks from the nearest streetcar stop. The rooms are the standard Holiday Inn Express rooms, however the daily maid service was better here than most. The breakfast is also the standard HIE menu, but who doesn't love them cinnamon rolls! Didn't try the pool or fitness center as Portland offers way too much to spend it in the room. « less

Room was quiet, clean and comfortable, but more expensive than many other Holiday Inns in which I've stayed ($100 more per night), but given the location, I think it's worth it. Standard Holiday Inn breakfast. « less

Traveled through with 3 kids, they loved the pool! It was remodeled, clean, warm (attached photo). The staff said rooms were remodeled few years ago, standard rooms clean and comfortable. Free underground parking keeps you dry in the rain. They give you bags of snack and water and cookies in the lobby. I told staff we stayed at other holiday inns this trip and no one gave us these bags and was told it depends on the owner and this owner likes the gift bag touch. Breakfast was standard egg bacon pastry, nice to have for kids. The restaurants nearby were nice places but my kids didnt want to eat there and parking was hard to find at night so we drove further and found a red robin my kids liked. Anyway, I would stay here again if ever through here. « less
