Guest Business Center with fax, copy machine and CAC Readers for Military use, Complimentary Hot Breakfast served every morning as well as a Guest Reception & Hot meal served Monday thru Thursday evenings. We also make longer-term stay easier with in house Guest Laundry Facility, Fitness Center, Indoor Pool and Hot Tub. Vending/Ice are located on each floor for guest use and an elevator to make access easy to all 3 floors of the hotel. I have never traveled with a dog before, but I recently drove with my daughter from OH to CO when she relocated to CO. We had her medium sized dog with us, and needed a pet friendly hotel. This Comfort INN is only a couple yrs old, very nice!! Had one hall on the 1st floor that they usually used for pets; the door at the end of the hall led to the parking lot and the doggie area. An added feature was that there was a landscaping business right next door that had a huge pond and a walking path around it, open to the public. There were light poles, and benches. It was a nice place to take the dog out for a walk. Of course we took baggies and cleaned up any messes. And I did see hotel staff out in the morning doing doggie duty for those who didn't clean up after their dogs! Price was very good, doggie fee was $25 which sounded reasonable. We stayed 2 nights, as my son is in the army stationed at nearby Ft Riley, so we visited with him. There was only the one $25 dog fee on my bill, so it must not have been a daily dog fee. Staff were nice, hotel very clean. IHOP in walking distance, other restaurants near. Some people might have mentioned some train noise in their reviews, but we found it very quiet..no noise...beds were great...slept great. Would definitely stay here again! « less

The amenities are appreciated...fridge, microwave.....cookies and hot cider....and even a meal in the evening is included. The hot breakfast is a nice treat. The hotel is very near shopping and gas stations. Staff very friendly and helpful. « less

Pluses: This is a great place to stay at a very reasonable rate. Firstly, when you enter the property, it is very impressive..the chandeliers, the lovely odor wafting thru the reception area, and the bright colors. The staff is very nice and customer oriented. Our room was a King and it was beautiful, bright, sun was shining in the window which created such a welcoming affect. Bed was comfy, provided options in the pillows, big, spacious and oh so comfortable. Minuses: This is in an area whereby there is a military installation and I think for that reason it attracts a lot of families with kids. I would suggest that the hotel first place families with kids on the first floor, using the 2nd floor as overflow. We were on the 2nd floor, and very early in the a.m., we were awakened by what sounded like little ones running on the floors. Since they were above us, those little foot sounds really resonated. That made me mark it less than excellent on sleep quality. They had a fitness room which looked fine, but we did not use it, nor did we use room service. We have found few establishments that offer a breakfast that we want to dedicate time to sit down and consume, and this one was in that same category, except they did offer (hot) waffles, scrambled eggs, and Oatmeal in envelopes. But they did score high on coffee (good and bold) as they offered real dairy half-and-half vs "white powder" which anyone from Washington State eschews! We liked the comfort and cheery appearance of this inn so much until we booked another Comfort Inn in the city where we spent the next night. It wasn't as new, or as cheery, bright or good-smelling, as the one in Junction City, but still better than the inn (another chain) we stayed at BEFORE Junction City. « less
