I need to post 200 characters minimum. What more can you say about a closed restaurant. The closest food is at the VFW, then there is a bar "Jersey's" and a turck stop "Last Track". « less

I stay in 6 or 7 Hotels a year for work always on the economy price level. This trip was for pleasure not business so I was going to spend the extra cash for an upscale hotel. I wanted a pool and a hot tub. When I tried to book an up scale Hotel they were all booked so I had to settle for a place that had a room.
I am so glad we were directed to the Clarion. After booking my room I read the reviews I was so disappointed with the reviews. However here is the good news. The place has a new manager he has only been there a month and the place is great. The staff is cheerful and very helpful. The pool is the best indoor pool I have seen (I swim laps and it was perfect) at a hotel. The room was clean and odor free, no smell of cigarettes or must.
The exercise room is small and has three cardio machines fairly new and of good quality.
The only complaint I have is Breakfast. Now do not get me wrong everything tasted great and there was plenty of it. What was odd is on Monday they served eggs with no meat there was fruit and Bagels, donuts waffles toast etc. but no bacon or sausage. This would not have been so strange accept Tuesday and Wednesday there was sausage but no eggs. This alone is my only complaint. It's kind of a big thing to me, I think the new manager will take care of this odd glitch. « less

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to give us some feedback on how we are doing. My new staff was very excited when I posted your comment on our office board. We value all of our guests' feedback and use it to evaluate what can be done to improve our hotel as well as what we are doing right. I will work on getting breakfast to great standings.
Sincerely,

Lady at the front desk was nice and polite. Walked into the room and it was so cold, we couldn't get the room to warm up for hours. Also, we called the front desk to get extra blankets and we were told she would have to wash one and get back to us. It has been 3 hours since we have called and still no sign of the blanket. Rooms are run down and in need of a facelift. Lastly, blankets on my bed are dirty and have good stuck to them. I am positive they were not washed. I paid $35 for this room because of my friends and family discount and still feel as if I paid too much for the quality of the room. « less

A group of us stayed here due to a concert taking place at the Xcel Energy Center and it was the closest "Choice Hotel" I could find. Samantha (I believe her name was) at the front desk was able to get all our rooms next to each other and did a great job answering all questions we had. Looked very clean, had very comfortable beds and even for our rooms being on 1st floor were pretty quiet. I expected the breakfast to be a little better and have more choices and options, but the biscuits and gravy were alright for us. I would stay here again if I was in the area for anything. « less
