The Crowne Plaza has undergone a wonderful exterior transformation. This new adrenaline is being pumped into the interior of the hotel as well. We are totally renovating all public spaces including a brand new business center, refurbishing the pool and fitness center areas, realigning the entrance to the hotel, revamping the Guest Service area, and taking our ballroom to the next level with new finishings and furnishing to truly make this hotel the premier Place to Meet for small to mid size meetings in Greenville, SC. Ruth’s Chris Steak House will be opening in the Fall of 2008, adding another great feature to our hotel. The restaurant will feature seating for 225, and will have private dining areas, perfect for small dinner meetings from 25 to 40 people including wi-fi presentation capabilities. You will be able to enjoy dining outside with patio seating and as an added special touch, valet parking will also be available. We still recognize the importance of getting a great night’s sleep when traveling. That’s why we teamed up with sleep expert Michael Breus, Ph.D, of Sound Sleep, LLC, to develop the Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage.® Dr. Breus is board-certified in clinical sleep disorders and worked closely with us to provide our guests with a holistic approach to a better sleep. The Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage includes: Comfortable New Beds – Our beds have been taken to a new level of comfort with seven pillows, a plush duvet and luxurious sheets. New mattresses and oversized head boards are being added in 2008!! Guaranteed Wake-Up Calls, Quiet Zone Floor – Our 6th floor is key access only and has been designated a quiet zone. Sleep Amenities – A favorite among our guests includes an eye mask and drape clip to block out unwanted light, earplugs to ensure silence, lavender spray to promote relaxation and a nightlight to provide soft lighting during the night. Sleep CD and Relaxation Tips – Another favorite. Provides relaxing tips and exercises to help promote healthy sleep habits. The Executive Level will offer added amenities, including turndown service, plush bathrobes, and more. All Guestrooms will include new Wall Vinyl, 32” Flat Screen Televisions and Remote Thermostat HVAC Systems. As part of our renovation, all guest bathrooms will now have granite counter tops, new floor tile, framed mirrors accented by wall sconces, luminated make-up mirrors, upgraded lighting features, and single serve coffee makers.
