As I am writing this review, I just spoke with the duty manager regarding the bad attitude of the front desk staff and guess what, NO apology from the duty manager too!!!!
We arrived at Frankfurt today and checked into the hotel at 8 am, we paid for 2 nights even though we are checking out tomorrow but when we checked in, we were told our room was not ready! Furthermore, I was standing besides my husband when we handed over our passports for registration and the front desk staff looked at me and told me to go to the next lane! We have 3 suitcases together and how could she not know we were together was beyond my comprehension!
I had lunch at the restaurant which the service was excellent. Then i decided to walk around the town center but I only had one 200 Euro note, so i went to the front desk to ask if they could break down the note to smaller change for taxi. First, the lady looked apologetic and said she did not have enough change in her cashier but she would go and ask her colleague across if she had. When she came back, she just looked at me and said "it is not my job to change the money for you." Her colleague across was the same lady we encountered the bad service this morning! She offered no help at all. I called the duty manager on site and reported this incident to him, and in my opinion, hotel business is all about hospitality and customer service. No matter how much a manager would want to protect their staff, when a customer calls to file a complaint, any managers would offer an apology first and then investigate the case. But THIS manager said "maybe the hotel really didn't have any small bills, maybe we only have 500 Euro notes, that's why the front desk couldn't break it down for you."
This is the first time I have heard something as ridiculous from a hotel manager speaking to a hotel guest!!
Luckily, the taxi I took had 50 euro notes but a hotel this size did not!!! « less

The breakfast is average/good, the conference area is ok (but needs refurbishment) and the room has a nice view BUT I expected more from this hotel. The room wasn't very clean, the breakfast was ok, nothing special. No bars or restaurants in walking distance despite the hotel bar and the hotel restaurant. Hotel bar was out of the drink we wanted to order. In conclusion the hotel is ok but nothing special. « less

You mentioned that our conference area needs refurbishment. I can assure you, that we are constantly working on that. Our hotel opened in 2005 and now it is on us to keep up the nice and clean appearance. The cleanliness of our hotel rooms is of course very important and we do not compromise that. The food was adequate. Bar area was friendly but small. Staff was very accomodating and friendly. Would definitely choose this location again if in the area. I would recommend the Radisson for business travellers. Check the location though as it is a 10 minute taxi ride from the train station if that is important for you. « less
