Very impressed with the facility and their customer service. There was a mix-up with our reservation, which was made through Priceline.com. Robin, one of the Holiday Inn managers, was just wonderful in assisting us in clearing up the mix-up. The management was professional, the rooms were clean, & they offered pet friendly rooms as well. We have stayed at this hotel three times in the past two months. Blytheville is a great halfway point in our trip to Mississippi to visit friends and Louisiana to visit family. We have consistently been impressed with the service, quality, and experience provided by this hotel and its staff.
The front desk staff is excellent. Travis even remembered us from a previous stay - he is extremely friendly and helpful and a joy to interact with. The rooms are newly remodeled and the beds are extremely comfortable. The rooms are also VERY clean - one of my musts when staying at a hotel. One note - we requested a room next to the indoor pool last night and the noise (due to it being a weekend) during pool hours came right into our room. We felt like kids were playing Marco Polo right in our room this morning! :-). Next time, we won't request this room unless we stay on a weeknight.
One of the really nice things about a stay in this hotel is the breakfast. The Holiday Inn has a Perkins restaurant attached and the breakfast is included in your stay. Adult can choose from 4 different breakfasts or choose something off the menu and get $5 off and kids eat free. This is a very nice alternative to fighting over the waffle machine at a traditional continental breakfast bar!
Overall, we couldn't be more pleased with all of our stays here and can't wait to be back next spring. « less

Great hotel with indoor pool , very tastefully decorated room with a boutique-style. The hotel doesn't have a continental breakfast per se, but they give you voucher to the adjacent restaurant. If you add a couple of $$ you get a really great breakfast. Also, check their bar, a bartender really knows how to do the cocktails :) « less

Introduction: The hotel was renovated a couple years ago and still looks fresh and new. It's a sprawling property with 150 rooms with two stories in some places and three in others. There are several national hotel chains just off I-55. This hotel seems to be the furthest away from the Interstate so you should have a quiet stay. The hotel features an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool. There are two onsite restaurants; more on that later.
The Room: Our large room was beautifully decorated with very nice furniture in good shape. The carpeting was in excellent condition. The room contains a flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator and both easy and desk chairs; oftentimes one only gets a desk chair.
The Bathroom: Nothing special about the bathroom. It has excellent lighting. The vanity is elevated which is great if your back isn't. Good shower head although it's a bit tricky to activate; when you turn the water on it comes from the faucet. To start the shower, pull down on the ring under the faucet. When you turn the water off, the shower head is deactivated. There was only one towel rack and that in the tub area. The room could use a towel bar over the toilet. The one major irritant was a loudly creaking bathroom door; if sharing a room it is disturbing to a sleeping partner when the other uses the bathroom at night. Maids should have caught this. This was promptly corrected when complaining the next morning.
Breakfast Dining: Normally Holiday Inns don't have complimentary breakfasts but this one does, probably because the competition does as policy. There is an on site Perkins Pancake House that opens nice and early at 5:30 AM. You receive a coupon that lists four complimentary options. If these aren't satisfactory, you may order from the menu and receive $5.00 off. If you're staying more than one night, you need to request a coupon each day.
Evening Dining: There is also an onsite bistro that opens at 4 PM for dinner. I suspect this restaurant is good as it gets for fine dining in Blytheville. The prices are moderate. The menu seems heavy on seafood and chicken dishes but the food is good. Our server seemed to be new and not well acquainted with the menu. She was very friendly but service was sporadic. « less
