I was impressed with this hotel. The rooms had been redone recently and things looked fresh and new. We had a fridge and counter space which was nice to have. Bathroom clean and great pressure in the shower. The bed wasn't as new as the rest of the room. The continental breakfast had a great variety of options. One of the best I have had. The signature cinnamon buns were a treat. We were even greeted every afternoon with warm chocolate chip cookies. The front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is convenient to the highway and all of Charleston's attractions. Good value. I would stay here again. « less

This is by far the best hotel we ever stayed at....We came down to Charleston from Nova Scotia, Canada, and could not believe what is included with your stay....Ok, here is goes....every morning you get a hot breakfast which includes cereal, milk, yougart, orange juice, apple juice, hot coffee, tea, grits, oatmeal, sausages, ham, scramble eggs, omlets, hot biscuits, country gravy, hot cinnimum buns, fresh pancakes, cold cereal, begals, fresh fruit.....ok, now this is just breakfast.....Every night from Monday to Thursday from 5pm to 7pm, in the lounge where breakfast is served, there is what is called a "managers meet and greet", where you get FREE ALCHOLIC DRINKS".....Yes FREE.....They offer free beer, red, white, and Zinfedel wines, hot appetizers and snack foods......for FREE..for two hours!!!!! I have traveled the world and have never seen this much free hospotality. I will always stay here, the staff is awesome!!!!!...Folks, take it from me, you will not be disapponted in this stay, the best bang for your buck...shopping mall across the street, as well as many restaurant chaines around the corner...O'Charlies restaurant around the corner cannot be beat....low prices, with awesome food....There is also security staff who walk the grounds all night long, very safe location....We stayed here 7 nights and loved it....You are just 20 minutes from downtown on the freeway, with easy access to the highway.....like i said this hotel is very good....cheers.. « less

This hotel is conveniently located near shops and restaurants and is only 20 minutes away from downtown Charleston. When we arrive we were immediately greeted by Shaquior who was pleasant and friendly, definitely an asset to the hotel. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The hotel breakfast is the best I have seen with many options for you to choose from. The only reason I am not giving this hotel 5 star is for a couple of reasons. First, the heating system is very loud. Whenever the heat came on it sounded like a large truck idling in out room. My second complaint is about the front desk person name Tyrone. I asked him for directions to an attraction and he informed me it would take him a few minutes to look it up on the computer. I told him it was okay, I would wait. As he started to look up the information for me, a group of gentlemen walked up, Tyrone says to me, "let me help them first since what you need will take some time." The help these gentlemen needed would also take quite a bit of time, but Tyrone proceeded to help them with their issue. I walked away and returned to the desk 15 minutes later to see that Tyrone was still assisting the men. I was not happy about being turned away because my issue would have taken "too long" but he was more than happy to assist someone else with their lengthy issue. Here's a customer service tip for you Tyrone, "TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER IN FRONT OF YOU FIRST BEFORE ASSISTING SOMEONE ELSE". « less

This was a great hotel to stay at. From the fresh cookies at check in to a very clean room everything was great. Close to many restaurants and things to do. A short drive to downtown Charleston and other attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not have breakfast there so I can't comment on the food but the breakfast area looked very clean and roomy. It was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. Would stay again. « less

My wife and I stayed at this facility back in December while I was in town for some training. Everything about it was great, but what stood out most to us was the white lady that worked in breakfast. She never stopped moving! She made sure everything was full at all times, if we needed help with anything she was always very quick to get it for us. It made our stay very memorable. Unfortunately, we aren't in the North Charleston area ever and I don't know if we ever will be again, but if we do happen to travel back that way we will DEFINITELY stay with you all again. Thank you all for your help! « less
