The staff was wonderful. The rooms are nice and have full window views. It is a great location as the views show both the city that you expect, but you also get a wonderful view of the peak. It makes Hong Kong feel very 'green'. A short walk to Wan Chai is a bonus. The one disappointment was the 'spa'. This is not a true spa. You are better off with going to happy foot and painting your own toe nails. « less

Business hotel that provides very attentive service the moment u walked through the door. Huge lobby. Rooms are sizeable for Hong Kong standards. Bathrooms are of good size with separate bath and shower area. Bath products provided are of good quality - they smell terribly nice. Swimming pool under renovation, so if u want to swim, u need to use the pools at nearby neighbouring hotels. Great gym with lots of equipment. There is sauna, steam room and jacuzzi facilities. Convenient location with the trains just next to hotel, as well as a shopping mall. Easy walk to Central. Hong kong park, hong kong botanical and zoological gardens within walking distance. The Peak Tram station is also nearby. Overall very good hotel, if u are not on business and willing to part with the high room rates charged. « less

Stayed here for a few nights for business. Hotel is located at Pacific Place, which is a good location with great accessibility. Service was good, and I received a plate of fruits everyday. However, the decor is a bit old, and shows itself more when you get to your room floor. Stayed at a room with the hill view - which wasn't bad. Likewise, the hotel room is also a old and small to my liking, bathroom included. One cannot open the bathroom door and the minibar cabinet without them knocking into each other. Most importantly, bed was comfortable, and free wifi was a savior. Didn't try the restaurants in the hotel. « less

The service at the front desk, the concierge, and in the lounge were all outstanding. The staff were friendly, accomodating, and very knowledgeable.
The room was terrific... I got upgraded to the concierge level. The desk looked out over the harbour, which made it hard to get any work done. The bed, like at all Marriott's, was very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. The bathroom was great, with bathtub, wonderful shower, etc.
The concierge lounge was pretty cool. I went there at the time of cocktails and then they brought out food for people who wanted to nosh on something. However, a significant number of people there were making this their evening meal. It was one of the most extensive buffers I've seen in a Marriott concierge lounge. Very impressive and delicious!
If you don't mind paying the money (or the company is paying), this is a terrific location to stay at. If is close to all the key areas of Hong Kong, the cabs are cheap, the train to the airport is only about a $4 cab ride away, and you can get anywhere very quickly. Hong Kong park is very close, and it is a beautiful place to go for a walk. « less
