EXTENSIVE construction. The room was very nice, tv was old and the remote did not work. First floor is stripped to the studs. Breakfast was not well presented. No staff to clean up. Kind of gross. Location is easy to get to and I expect it will be very nice when the construction is completed but I would avoid it at all cost until it is presentable again. « less

This hotel is being renovated, which was unknown to me when I booked it through the mobile site. The dust alone is enough to make allergy sufferers miserable. The first room that they gave me was clearly about 50% into the renovation process; no towels, no headboards, smoke detector hanging off the wall, dust caked inside the air conditioner - plain unfit to sell as an available room. When I tried to get my money back, they refused and gave me a room on another floor that was a little further along in the renovation process, but not by much. There wasn't a room number, so I took my chances on using the key and it worked, but it was very confusing. The second room had what appeared to be mold or mildew on the AC unit. Days Inn refused to refund me, so I would definitely NOT recommend staying here! « less

I was informed there was construction be undertaken prior to arriving and I appreciate it because it helped prepare me. The room was satisfactory but the bed was not very comfortable. The cleaning staff did an excellent job. The receptionist (Brittney) was very helpful, friendly, courteous and nice. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the breakfast preparation area. It was dirty! The pans used to place the food in was not clean and no one made any effort to even make it look clean. I left without partaking due to the uncleanliness! « less

My stay was horrible! Walked into downtown and took a cab back, upon coming back went to the front desk to tell the clerk that I would not be staying my second night that something had come up at home and we would be leaving in the morning, not feeling the need to explain my personal business any more than that! Since I had booked through Expedia he assured me that I would just need to contact them. In the morning I proceeded to check out and told another lady that we would not be staying. After getting off the phone with Expedia the rep told me I had not told them I was checking out and not staying my second night. As if I hadn't talked to two people and handed over my room keys in person and they would not grant a refund! I have never complained about anywhere I have stayed! This hotel was going through renovations and I don't think should have been open for people to stay the condition it was in. Staff was not polite and I felt as if them sitting at the front desk with headphones in on their laptop was more important than helping us! I'm disgusted and will NEVER be going back to a Days Inn again!!! « less
