What stays with me is how good this hotel looks. The lines. The textures, The colors. The fixtures. The materials. The lighting. I usually don't care what a hotel looks like, but I could just sit in the room (or bathroom) and just turn my head for hours thinking to myself how much I like the decorating, its that good. I will stay at another Hyatt Place in another town just to see if it can look as nice as this one did. Check in ladies were absolutely delightful. Room was spotless. That the suite room slept 6 was great. Great mattresses is a plus. I felt safe in the parking lot with my family. Value (beautiful facility + great rate + great room + awesome breakfast + free internet + free parking) I have not seen in a long time. Plumbing noises coming from other people's rooms a bummer. The slime growing under the standing water on the pool deck (that water would be mopped up every night in a well managed property and nothing would be growing there) -- YUCK! What a shame. I bet its been 10 years since I stayed in a Hyatt hotel of any name. Its just a brand that I grew away from. We booked this property on a hotwire whim and ended up paying 15% below the rack rate, which ended up being really a great rate. I'm impressed, Hyatt has my attention now. « less

I loved the room/suite!& will comment below on pool facilities. Upon entering you see a desk area/ coffeebar/sink area to one side & to the other it has an L- sectional wc pulls out to a queen sleeper . dividing the sleeping area u pass by a flat screen TV wc is viewed by both sections of living space to find 2 double beds or a king- w/ lg vanity area separate from shower/toilet. The entire stay was very pleasant with helpful staff should u need anything. The only area that needs attention is the pool area-it is lacking in eye appeal feeling cold/and sterile in critical need of random bright umbrellas and fun abstract pool/beach/floaty/water pictures along the walls to add a fun comfortable atmosphere you want to relax in. Also a MUST !!!! - install a "family"toilet area for toddlers in pool vicinity. - u have to exit area run down a hall then pass by the lobby & down that hall to find restrooms. All wet cold and not too "cute" Whoever designed that pool space either didnt swim or have children. These can be remedied w a trip to pier one and homegoods in 2hours and getting a contractor/plumber to work after pool is closed a couple evenings. With that done and I'd give this a 5***** Stay. « less

The rooms are excellent, all mini-suites with a half wall for the bedroom area. The living room area has an L shaped sofa with a pull out bed, ottoman, a work desk, mini-refrigerator, sink, coffee maker. The TV is in between the living area and bedroom area (42" LG plasma). The bed is quite comfortable. And the alarm clock is easy to operate! I hate those Hilton clocks. The vanity is outside the bathroom door and the room I had included a spacious stand up shower (uncertain if they are all like this). The closet door also has a full length mirror.
There was plenty of parking. There's a Don Pablo's restaurant in the adjacent parking lot and several other restaurants nearby. Check in was pleasant and efficient. I didn't try the free breakfast. The hotel does not provide complimentary bottled water. The room is simply stocked with tea and coffee packets. They did provide complimentary toothpaste though.
Although this type of hotel doesn't offer room service, they do offer 24 hour dining where you can place an order, then go downstairs to pick it up. I didn't try any of their food though.
My only complaint with this hotel was the noise from the highway (oh yeah, and not providing water). The noise didn't bother me until it was time to sleep and I could hear every car that went by. The only thing that helped was turning on the A/C fan at high speed to drown it out. It worked pretty well, but the heat or AC won't come on when the fan is set to manual. So I got cold a few times using this method. I had a room at the end closest to the highway, so I would ask for a room at the other end if I stay here again. « less

Had to some down early for a next morning flight due to snow storm. The place is great, clean and staff were friendly. Free breakfast is the best free one in town. We booked last minute and stayed for pretty cheap. « less
