Requested a non-smoking room but evidently it had been a smoking room at some point in the past because there was a definite musty smell. The furniture and room decor were dated looking although reasonably clean. Bed not very comfortable. Breakfast was limited. « less

We visit Vancouver about every other month. First visit stayed at the former Days Inn. Service and accommodations were so-so but cheap. Could not use pool or exercise room because pool water was leaking into exercise room. We decided to give it another chance and booked a room on a Wednesday to stay Saturday-Sunday. Got there and boarded up and closed. We had to scramble to get a room. It took about a month to get refund, from Days Inn. When the Choice Inn opened at the same location we thought we’d give it a shot. From booking to the stay it was great. Stayed News Year Eve. Staff helped to make stay great. Next time we booked Peter worked with us and remembered who we were and was very helpful. Malik the manager has a great team. We will continue to stay here every time we come down. « less

Waited about 10 minutes for someone to show at the desk so we could check in. « less
