This hotel could benefit from a complimentary breakfast but with free wireless (Wi-Fi) it was an excellent choice. Recently renovated it is a very nice hotel, clean and quiet. It may look like it is far from the city but it is only a short 10 minute walk to Deansgate Street which is a main street. There was an evening diner special consisting of a limited menu but priced at 2 for 10 pounds. Excellent value. The breakfast buffet was worth the 7 pounds fifty compared to local restaurants or cafes. The staff were so very helpful. We walked from Old Trafford. Taxis to most local attractions or train station is less than 10 pounds. Recommend this hotel. There is a shopping mall about 100 metres away. « less

I recently stayed here for one night. I checked in very late and the front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. The corridors and rooms are recently re- carpeted and everything is very fresh. The room was quite small but comfortable. It isn't in the centre of Manchester but handy for Salford Quays and Trafford if needed. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that but overall it was a comfortable stay. « less

Having booked a kingsize were given a standard double room which was not a big problem, but the room was not particularly clean. The bedside lamp had so much dust on it that you could write your name in it. There was a long dark hair on the bath and on the wall beside the toilet too.
Menu's on clip boards in the bar area didn't look very professional and upon ordering two sandwiches, one arrived on white instead of brown bread. Breakfast in the morning was okay.
This hotel is more like an Express Holiday Inn, and could do with modernising.
On a positive, the staff at this hotel are very nice and helpful with smiles on their faces at all times. « less

Had a lovely one night stay at this hotel. Very standard holiday inn with fairly large room with double bed and sofa bed. They dont very much but room was is a nice condition, clean and well cared for.
Friendly staff answered questions we had. Nice breakfast and bar too. Bottles of cider were around 4.20.
Hotel has a large free car park and there was free wifi. Im a holiday inn card holder so not sure if this was only for gold card members or everybody.
Hotel was about a 15 minute bus ride. The receptionist said that you could walk but without knowing hwere you were going I thought this was too difficult. There is a sainsburys and small retail park around a 5 minute walk and there is a bus stop there which takes you straight into the centre of town. £4 day rider ticket. Overall a plesant stay and would stay there again. « less
