We are the 2nd closest hotel in town to the ski area at Fernie Alpine Resort. Also close by in Fernie Golf & Country Club, Elk River for fishing & rafting, Horse Riding is available closeby as well as lots of hiking & biking trails. We are also within half an hour of a good selection of lakes.

Property Description
The Super 8 Fernie is a modern clean 43 room hotel catering for a variety of guests coming into town. We are family & pet-friendly and offer a free Deluxe SuperStart Continental Breakfast. All rooms have a fridge, microwave & coffee maker and all have either 1 or 2 Queen beds with en-suite, wifi, cable & telephone.
Guests have free use of our recently renovated outdoor hot-tub, the business centre and a mini-gym area.

We offer a deluxe complimentary continental breakfast. The breakfast includes a wide choice of delicious and healthy foods. There are a minimum of 4 baked items, these items vary but some examples are bagels, muffins, croissants, donuts, turnovers, scones and cinnamon buns. There is choices of hot and cold cereal''s. Our cold cereal selections always include a healthy choice. We have hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit which include a minimum of three choices(apples, banana''s, grapefruit, oranges). There is a waffle maker which is super popular, white and whole wheat toast with all the spreads. Juice, milk and locally roasted coffee''s. Gluten free choices can be offered with advanced notice.

Lobby, door handles and knobs, front desk,back room, guest computer, frontdesk counter, vending, guest laundry, guest kitchen and bbq deck need are continually sanitized.After each use and every hour. Items such as POS machine, keyboard, guest key cards , pens are sanitized after every use. Touch points ( doorknobs, stair railings, light switches, laundry and vending machines, guest computer, elevator buttons are continually sanitized. We have implemented rules regarding the use of hot tub, BBQ area, guest laundry and guest kitchen that limit their use to one family group at a time. Guest need to reserve their time with frontdesk. The guest kitchen and guest laundry room doors must remailn closed.Wash our hands frequently. A minimum of once per hour with soap and water and dry them well. We installed Plex shield installed at the frontdesk. Touchless sanitizer stations are positioned around the hotel. At each entry, in front of elevator on all floors, in lobby, guest kitchen, and guest laundry.
