The lobby in this hotel is really nice and modern and colourful.... very deceiving, because the rest of this hotel is awful, old, dirty and needs a total renovation. The hallways are old, dark and dirty, and then you get into the rooms that are super tiny. The carpet needs to be redone, the walls need to be repainted. There is a tiny closet to hang a few things with one tiny shelf. The bathroom was the worst.. the floor was so gross, that I didn't even want to step on it. It is so small that the bathroom I had on my Royal Carribbean cruise ship, was bigger than this! The shower is tiny, and the shower curtain was gross, so much that you really didn't want it to touch you. There were hairs all over the walls and they were there my entire 4 day stay. Cleanliness is not the top priority here. If they would renovate the rooms to match the lobby than it would be an amazing hotel. Very close to the Grand Palais, on a good street with restaurants and cafes nearby. The best thing about this hotel was the fresh squeezed orange machine at breakfast... that was great! « less

We stayed (2 couples) for 2 nights, 1 & 2 March 2013. Very clean, good location, 5 mins easy walk to the centre of Lille. Bars and a Boulangerie across the road. Other reviews have mentioned small rooms. They not big but absolutely fine. Plenty of room to walk round, with a table, chair and 2 side table. The staff are very helpful and polite. Free coffee/tea at anytime which s a bonus. Breakfast good, the fresh orange juicer was lovely-all help yourself. Lille very pretty will be coming back :) « less

Beware bedrooms are small (just enough room to walk around beds) but adequetally equipped and clean and fresh. Bathrooms are also small but perfect for a few nights stop over.
Continental buffett breakfast was excellent with fresh breads hams and a selection of cheeses.
Small bar area at front reception with reasonable prices.
Staff were ok but some definately needed to cheer up abit.
Overall a good stop over hotel for a few nights break, would be my choice in Lille if I was to return again. « less
