As a result we now offer free basic Internet access to all of our guests for basic tasks such as e-mail and basic web search. For guests with greater speed needs, premium access is available at a cost. Options available are a 12 hour, a 24 hour and a seven day premium access option. While we are concerned that we could not meet your expectations, we are thankful for the opportunity of addressing your concerns, if only for the benefit of future guests. We stayed at the Crowne Plaza as part of a tour for an overseas trip – we arrived in Miami the night before our international flight. The hotel is clean, comfortable and with their shuttle service easy to get back and forth to the airport. There are not many options in the area for restaurants. Watch out though for your wake up call. We placed our request for a wake up call in person with the front desk. We saw it written down for the time we requested but the next morning we did not receive it. Now this Crowne Plaza guarantees your wake up call or your money back. Of course there was no one available to speak with us when we checked out about not receiving the wake up call but the front desk person did take our name and email address. We did receive emails from the hotel about the lack of the wake up call and an offer to refund money but not to us instead to the tour company our trip was with – which would have meant that we never would have received the refund. The other offer was for points in their reward program – which we did not belong to. When we explained that this would not work, the next offer was for a certificate for that hotel for one night or once again points in their rewards program. In the end we finally said yes, set us up with the rewards program and deposit the points offered. At this point all communication stopped from the hotel. No refund, no points, no communication. Guaranteed wake up call or your money back – not really a valid offer when the hotel doesn’t live up to it. « less

Had to wait at least 20 minutes for a shuttle (actually white and purple not red-see photo) at the airport. Not much fun after waiting 2 hours to get through Border Control! Requested in advance a quiet room with a view. Given a good room on 6th floor which apparently was an upgrade possibly due to being a Priority Club member. Everything the standard one would expect. Food in restaurant surprisingly good and saved going out to eat. « less

Last month we stayed at this CP on overnight layovers before and after our vacation to Jamaica. Both times the shuttle had just left the airport, so rather than wait we opted to take a cab. Each trip was around $10 plus trip. On our way back to airport we took shuttle which ran on time no problems. On our second stay we were upgraded to a nice suite for being a priority club member. That stay we also got room service dinner, which was rather quick and tasted good. Rooms were always clean, and consistent with the CP brand. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. « less
