After not seeing my sister for over 2 years we decided to meet in Orlando for a weekend get away with our kids . The rooms were really outdated and the first night was a bit miserable because the AC failed. So my 6 yr old and I woke up in a sweat. After breakfast we decided to go for a swim and then take a walk on the strip which was lovely . Only to come back to a very hot and humid room after setting the tempature to 60 degrees in hopes for more comfort as we returned. I called down to the front desk to advise of the discomfort and was immediately transferred to a more comfortable room even closer to my family. I was upset because I had to move but, when I tell you the Bellman EDGAR SANCHEZ was so AWESOME in his assistance I had to request his name . He assisted me with all of my items and I had alot and also went the extra mile to make sure that nothing was left in the other room. He also expressed my concerns to the front desk and personally brought back a free breakfast voucher for my daughter and I to have breakfast on our last day in the hotel. I work in customer service and look for the same in others and I must say Edgar exceeded my expectations. Though the rooms weren't as promised because of Edgar I would refer and return to this hotel again. Thank you Edgar for helping make my mini vacation with family a rememberable one service like yours should be recognized.The hotel still needs updating but, overall we had a Wonderful time ...... It's a "cheap" stay. The taller building felt like a ghetto sometimes. And the security was poor. This hotel is layed down on a number of buildings, with a big parking lot around. There are two(or was that 3) lot entrance, with big gates. This were kept open till late hours. And the access to the taller building wasn't overlooked by the "main entrance", where the hotel lobby/front desk is. The mainteinance was average at best. The location is very good. « less

Just got back from staying at this hotel for ten days. We stayed in the d block which was perfectly situated beside the hotel pool. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left we felt very welcome all staff spoke and were very friendly especially Mary Beth and Marc.
The shuttle service was ideal for the parks and easy to book, and offered great times for both going to parks and coming home.
The room was spacious and kept clean, the beds were lovely and comfy just what was needed after a long day at parks. The hotel was perfectly situated with the I trolley right outside.
Would stay again as perfect location and ideal for what you need in orlardo somewhere clean and friendly. If you are expecting to stay in your room a lot and want five star the pay for five star if like me it's one where to sleep and wash this place is perfect. Thanks again for everything from assistant manager ought down to the cleaners for Lovely holiday « less

After spending nearly 3 hours queuing through immigration after a 9 hour flight, we finally arrived at the hotel. We were given our room keys for block A bottom floor facing the pool area. The door looked like it had been forced open in the past and the room was small, dark and smelt of a combination of stale smoke and damp, We returned to reception to request another room which they did immediately. We were put in the tower on the 2nd floor which was a great improvement. The room smelt fresh, very spacious and clean. The air con and fridge was very noisy so we turned the fridge off completely and the air con at night. The lifts are very old and have a mind of their own. The doors took ages to close and you didnt always stop at the floor you wanted. The staff were friendly and happy to help. We had breakfast there once, nice but very expensive at $58 for 4 people, so I suggest if you have breakfast there, fill your boots!! We also had a snack at the pool which was fab and a lot cheaper. The transport to the parks is well organised, however make sure you book early as they get booked up quickly, we started booking 2 days in advance. You can walk to universal from this hotel in 15 minutes and the I-ride trolleys are cheap and great for tired feet. The pool area is lovely. « less

It is the first time we have stayed here .We moved rooms within a few minutes of arriving as we were on the ground floor of the B block which was dark and smelt damp.The staff moved us in to the Tower block which is much better with great views and huge rooms .The mattress was very soft and dipped in the middle,we got used to it!The pool is great but the hotel does need a good renovation .The staff have totally made this holiday for us many thanks to Michael and Iman (the bar staff) Marybeth and also Mark who carried our very heavy cases.Lovely people who have made a holiday a great one! « less
