Built on the foundation of a 1965 Westward Ho Hotel, Ace Palm Springs maintains functionality and simplicity without sacrificing the renowned Ace aesthetic. Much of the property is an outgrowth of the original five-building structure, from the unearthed terrazzo floors in the restaurant to the rare deep swimming pool from years ago. Just south of downtown, the location allows easy access to everything.
Interiors, a collaboration between Ace and the L.A.-based visual design team Commune, build on the Ace penchant for pure design and honest materials. Commune's collaboration with Atelier Ace transports the guest to an indulgent camping experience. An eclectic assortment of local artists and designers also contributed their talents to create a space with many voices. The grounds expand on this idea of community, with shared outdoor areas like communal fireplaces and patios that invite guests to come together.

Ace embraces the character of the desert and its sensual tranquility. We let the California landscape guide the design, from the native vegetation to the dramatic mountain views. The Ace team enlisted prominent landscape consultant William Kopelk to cultivate this wide expanse of native desert vegetation into an inviting oasis
