The hotel is very well located near all major highways. Across the street from the Yorkdale Mall will offer you plenty of shopping/dining options! The parking is abundant, but costs $9.
The staff is very cordial and helpful. The gym is by the pool, but it is outdated. Fitness equipment is showing age if not simply out of order.
The rooms are ok, should be revamped but they are comfortable. The hwy can be noisy at night if you are a light sleeper. Received a snack pack with bottled water (nice attention) and WiFi is ok for emails and web and free.

It was the day of the storm, and my husband asked me to book him an overnight in Toronto because the focast was bad for that night. I had the credit card, not him, so we talked at length with the hotel on how to make this happen. They neglected to mention the need for a photocopy of the card... despite 2 confirmation phone calls that they had all they needed. Here's the kicker... they wouldn't let us use the card for the $150 room... but they were happy to take it for incidentals, room service and parking. SERIOUSLY? No effort to resolve, no apologies... I can order anything online with the same card, but despite photo id, you won't take my reservation? But you'll take it for everything else? Never, ever again. Holiday Inn review from their review page... funny... they only post positive reviews.... Do not stay there....go five miles away and stay at the Westin Prince instead... « less

I was recently at this hotel. It is close to main arteries and easy to find. It is across the road from a major shopping centre and subway station. Check-in was easy and despite the line moved quickly. Hotel is quite huge. Lobby was clean. Our room was clean but unfortunately old. There was not much room for two people to pass each other around the beds, etc. Carpet in hallways and room needs updating along with the old wallpaper. Room did not have much natural light so even with the lamps on it always felt dark. Beds were comfortable and clean. Coffee maker in room. Bathroom was very small. You had to go all the way in to be able to shut the door as the door almost touched the toilet when open. Shower/tub had old tile and needs replacing. Heater/A/C unit was noisy but fortunately it was comfortable enough outside that neither mattered for us. We had a late supper after arrival and unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant. Pizza took an hour to arrive and it was not close to being in the top 10. Restaurant is also in an open air atrium of sorts right beside the pool and children's play area so there is constant noise. Plenty of paid parking available. Check out was quick. All in all a good location but I think I will look for a newer hotel next visit. « less

Dinner and breakfast buffet great, but expensive. The menu in general is overpriced. However, everything was presented nicely. Great facilities for meeting rooms. Décor in the restaurant and by the pool nice. Carpet is older but no noise and the beds and pillows comfortable.
Overall great, but too 180.00 is expensive for what you get and then add parking. « less
