Stayed two nights and was very comfortable, friendly helpful staff and good breakfast. The room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. The property is a little older, but well maintained. As with any other hotel with an inside pool, there is the odor of chlorine, but it is not overwhelming. At some point the property could use some remodeling, but it the current condition is not a factor which should determine if you should or should not stay there. Easy access off I-70, just west of the river near the Ameristar Casino in St, Charles. I will consider staying there on my next trip to the St. Louis area. « less

The room was clean and adequate, the staff friendly and the breakfast OK. It is located very close to the freeway and a Cracker Barrel is next door. Other restaurants were several minutes away by car. Overall a good solid option with no surprises. « less

This place has a very welcoming and friendly staff, and that includes the desk clerk, maintenance, and housekeeping. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable. As mentioned by many others, the location is very convenient. BUT, this place needs a major overhaul. The lobby was sprayed with an air freshener that smelled like roses. Reminded me of a funeral home, and irritated my nose so badly that I could barely breathe. The ice machine leaked, our sink drain was VERY slow, and our toilet leaked as well. I would not stay here again unless I read that it has been completely remodeled. It got a 3 because of the staff and cleanliness « less

There are many good things to be said about this hotel. On the plus side the staff was wonderful. They were always pleasant and answered any questions with a smile. The hotel was very easy to access. I-70 is a busy road and the exit ramp leads almost to the hotel with easily marked directions. The hotel was also very quiet with little outside or inside noise. The free breakfast had few choices, but what was available was fresh. Now for the minus---I felt the hotel itself was worn and in need of a good cleaning. Windows to the pool not clean, elevator walls and floor dirty, and the room itself in need of a good cleaning. Walls dirty, peanuts under the bed, etc. The bed linen was clean and the room had no odor so that was a plus. Overall it was fine for the price. Clean it up guys and it will be perfect! « less
