Our rooms were not all booked after a list was sent to the hotel three weeks in advance. We worked with the hotel to accommodate the over booking. The hotel was a little worn out in the bathrooms. Cold use some updates. It was clean and the breakfast was good.

Let me take this opportunity to tell you about Davenport LaQuinta Inn. We have just recently completed our 1.8 million dollar renovation in our commons areas, pool area and conference center! Our hotel offers spacious rooms to accommodate any type of lodging needs - from the business guest to visiting family and friends, bus tours, along with small casual meetings to large gatherings, meetings, trainings or weddings in our newly renovated conference center!Start your day off with our complimentary hot breakfast buffet that includes a waffle center, eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, warm cinnamon donuts, fresh fruit, yogurts, and a wide selection of both hot and cold cereals, and many other items. We have hot coffee, tea, coco and freshly baked cookies in the lobby where you can sit and relax or catch the game on our 50” flat screen TV.Our rooms are beautifully appointed and offer a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, clothes iron, and hair dryers. If work is what you want to do, you can sit comfortably in the Leather Ergonomic Chair and use the desk equipped with free high speed wireless or hard wired internet. While away from your room you will receive your messages on your own personal voice mail.If you’re going to be with us for awhile you will be very comfortable in our King Suite that offers a full size refrigerator, cook top, living and dining areas along with a king bed and a Jacuzzi tub! Our indoor pool is heated to just the right temperature for a comfortable swim. The fitness room is available 24 hours a day where you can get the work out you need with our “TRUE” Total Body System. Our business center has a computer with internet access and printer, and faxing service is available. You will find coin operated laundry facilities on the 1st floor if you should need to do some laundry or you can also have it sent out with our same day dry cleaning services. If you are visiting the area on a bus tour or group we will take care of all of your needs! When the bus arrives we will be there to welcome everyone with smiles, coffee, tea, cookies, or even little cakes if you desire! We offer a quick and easy check in check in process to make everything go smoothly. Luggage? Don’t worry; we will take care of that for you also! If you have a gathering of any kind planned, we can accommodate that too! We have our Hawkeye Room that is located with-in the hotel should you need a room that can seat 50 classroom style. But should you need larger accommodations we have our newly renovated conference room that can host meetings, conferences, trainings, and even weddings! The conference center can be opened completely to hold 200 to 250 people or separated into 3 smaller rooms along with a break out room that will hold 75. We also have a holding area for caterers! You will find the Davenport LaQuinta Inn a great place to work, relax, or hold an event! We pride ourselves in offering personalized service and comfortable “Home away from Home” accommodations.
