The Vail Plaza Hotel & Club will open its doors December 2007 - It is a retreat in the heart of Vail’s famed pedestrian village, just steps from the ski slopes and half a mile from Vail Golf Club. Luxury in the style of the Italian Alps will distinguish the 207 rooms,club suites and penthouses, complemented by the gourmet Da Vinci Restaurant, the casual Galileo Restaurant, and Bacco's Lounge. Other amenities include the Sorrento Spa, a fitness center, and an outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. For meetings and special events, a conference center welcomes groups from 10 to 350 people, with first class hospitality.
