Easy to get to, clean rooms, friendly staff...my only complaint is that they are booked up when we come back next week! Loved the step-up sitting area that made the room feel more cozy and less like the standard hotel room. Had several very good restaurants in waking distance. Got a great rate and will likely be back soon. « less

The staff was wonderful and always around and willing to help. It was clean and had a decent breakfast available for an extra charge. The room had a neat little elevated sitting area, but it was a bit dated in the decor. It was also hard to get the temperature just right and tended to be on the warm side. Unfortunately the bed was way too firm to be comfortable for me. There are many dining options nearby and it's in a very clean and attractive area. They have a very nice outdoor patio space near their small bar area. They have a pretty well stocked shop for snacks and drinks. If you're driving, you pull up to the little valet area on Spring Street and they park your car in an adjacent lot for a reasonable fee. You can park it yourself but then you pay each time you come and go. We opted to return our rental early and did just fine without a car for a couple days. « less

I got a great Priceline deal for the hotel and was excited to arrive. We asked for a King room which wasn't a problem. But, they sent us to a room next to their storage rooms. Needless to say, our room was so small it felt like you could hardly turn aroind in it. I called the front desk and they happily changed our room and even brought us the new keys. The second room was much more spacious. The bed was ok - kind of a cheap matress with a thick pad on it. By and large we got a good night sleep. But compared to other Marriot hotels, the bed was disappointing. The pool and hot tub were clean amd we had a lot of fun. But I did have to go to the front desk and ask them for towels. The pool area only had a heaping pile of dirty towels thay were not cleared during our stay. The biggest downside was parking - $19 for overnight parking, while on par with other cities, just seemed outrageous for Columbus. All in all, it wasn't a bad stay. I would be much more upset if I paid full price. Likely would not stay again simply because there are plenty of other options. « less

the title says it all. the rooms have small windows. some are really dark - i have asked to change rooms on two or three visits. as for the tv, just think what would happen to our travel experience if we all boycotted chains that use lodgenet. it's hideous. at this property the hdmi ports are disabled. other hotels provide hdmi panels. this place disabled them. they don't understand their customers: if i have a device & hdmi cable in my suitcase, disabling the hdmi port is not going to make me spend money on lodgenet, it's just going to make me write a bad review on trip advisor. on the plus side, the internet connection is ok. « less

Recently stayed there for a conference at the Convention Center. Loved the history of the place. The hotel itself is quite charming and the super friendly staff very good and very efficient. The room was very comfortable and the layout very functional. Whether in the public areas or the room, everything was clean. The breakfast offering was quite good though limited. Not sure if there was a staff shortage when I was there but the people who were working seemed to be a bit stretched and stressed whenever there was a crowd. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance of downtown and all of its amenities including restaurants. Very good value, very good hotel. Will stay there again without hesitation. « less

"Everything worked out great. We are at the end of our season, but I will definitely use you in the future for my travels needs for 2007. The rates you gave were very competitive--better than ones that I get online or over the phone." V.V. - Blacksburg, VA
"We had one of our best reunions, ever. Your website is the best I have ever worked with for hotel finding and pricing. I will highly recommend it to everyone I can. Thanks again, so much." J.M. - Dallas, TX
