Came here to visit a friend at her college YEARS ago and I will give kudos where deserved: good work on the improvements. It is far cleaner, more modern and all around nicer than it was a few years ago. Its location is great, on a corner near downtown North Adams and its in walking distance to Mass Moca and food and drinking. I usually dont stay in a hotel but crash on folks' couches but lucky me, this day all the couches were full. Its price is fine in the off season. I wouldn't pay in the summer, but then again, I'm clearly a cheap-o. « less

This was my first stay at the Holiday Inn. My room was right next to the elevator and I was a bit nervous about the noise but was pleasantly surprised that the room was exceptionally quiet. My room was large, spacious & clean. I was traveling solo so had a room with 1 queen bed; room included a comfy chair & desk. I had a larger than expected refrigerator in the room, although I did not need it for this visit. I agree with other reviews about the lack of lighting in the bathroom but there was another larger mirror and better lighting in the room. I ate in the restaurant associated with the Inn and the meal was excellent. although there are plenty of other wonderful options within walking distance of the hotel.. Free parking. Free wi-fi. Friendly staff. Convenient to many attractions. Would stay again in a heartbeat. « less

The staff was super friendly and the hotel was easy to get to and centrally located. I would gladly stay at this location again. « less

We came to visit Mass MoCA and Williamstown and this seemed the best bet to stay (not much choice if you have children and you don't want B&B) The rooms were very clean, the boys loved the pool and the wi-fi. We were able to walk across the road to a great restaurant, so all in all a very pleasant and easy trip. One tip - I wouldn't bother paying extra for the breakfast, we had to wait 50 minutes for our food to come and there are lots of great cafes and restaurants a few steps away. « less
