This is a business traveler's hotel. I don't recommend it for tourists. No good restaurants nearby, so you are either eating in the hotel or driving.

As mentioned by an earlier reviewer, the room was quite dark, and VERY dated. My room was very unclean. There must have been a bear in my room previous to my arrival. Hair and bugs everywhere in the bathroom. It's a good thing I was alone, since the provided comforter couldn't be used to cover two people.
The staff were very unhelpful and offered no recommendations for restaurants. 25 Euro deposit for a US plug adapter. « less

I had come to Frankfurt on a business trip and was staying in this hotel for 4 days. Its about 1 hour by train from Frankfurt main and well connected by a tram service also. I found this place very quiet and away from the cities hustle and bustle. Rooms are okay and so is the sleep quality,buffet breakfast is healthy with a wide variety of fresh foods, skimmed milk,fresh fruit yogurts etc to choose from. Restaurant food is good enough and so is their home grown red wine-overall a nice play to stay and my advise would be to book a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor as the other floor is underground more like the wartime bunker « less

My hosts in Germany had picked this hotel for me to stay and this is located in a very quiet village called Heidelberg.Facilities and rooms were good.After a hectic business day it was a pleasure to get back in this hotel away from all the hustle and bustle which you will see in the main city hotels. I was happy with their room service and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was good with a wide array of food.The restaurant food quality is also good and you must allow them time to serve you the best dishes.The place is spacious and the ambiance is good. If you are travelling to Frankfurt I would recommend this hotel if you are prepared to save money and travel by trains or Taxi to go to and fro to Frankfurt main.A travel pass will help you save more Trains and trams are well connected from Frankfurt main and will take you about a hour to reach this hotel.There is a tram station and a supermarket within walking distance of say five minutes. « less
