Staff all very nice, professional and helpful. Hotel was very clean and provided easy access to DC. Room was large but furniture was bare bones. Could use a couch or recliner instead of two of the three chatirs, and a small refrigerator. Breakfast bar was fair; all pastries appeared to be either grocery store bought or previously frozen as many were still cold inside. No 24- coffee available. « less

This is actually a pretty nice motel. Room was large, comfortable bed, good free breakfast. However, we stayed 3 nights in room 107. Across the hall from this room and between rooms 106 and 108, which I assume would have the same problem, was a door from a stairwell which had no pneumatic closer. Monday morning wasn't a problem as the motel wasn't very busy. Tuesday morning was hell. Beginning around 6:00 am the door incessantly banged closed everytime someone went through it. After we got up we notified the front desk of the problem and asked that something be done or that we get another room. No other king bed rooms available and nothing was done so we spent another morning starting about 6:00 am listening to that door banging shut. It sounded like there was a convention of professional door bangers. IF ROOMS 106, 107, 108 ARE THE ONLY ROOMS AVAILABLE, STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE! « less

We were visiting the DC area but didn't wanted to stay in the down town due to all the activities. We wanted a hotel that was quiet, laid back, simple and not expensive. We chosen the Best Western, because we are familiar with the brand. It was exactly what we wanted, the location was perfect - about 20 minutes drive outside DC, in a very quiet and peaceful part of Falls Church VA. As we arrived at the hotel we were greeted and welcomed by the General Manager, Albert Veira and his very friendly and beautiful front desk staff Badam. We were checked into room 221. The room was tastefully decorated and furnished, was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. I love the double vanity... For an older building, it was very well maintained. Later that night we had a problem with the toilet and called the front desk and spoke with Gail Ferris, she promptly offered a solution and made us feel so welcome. Next morning before we departed, we had the free breakfast. The buffet was well stocked with everything we needed. Job well done. We would like to acknowledge our sincere gratitude to the management and staff. « less
