The Holiday Inn Dover is a full service hotel located off main road next to a Kmart store. Upon entering noted the lobby is a little small, does have a sitting area, lounge/restaurant to the right and desk to the left. Hotel looks newly renovated and found in 2009 had a full overhaul from a Howard Johnson. The lobby restaurant services breakfast daily and dinner every night except for Sunday. Once you go past the front desk towards the elevators is the meeting space at 2400 square feet, board room with the entrance inside the business center. The hotel does offers over 25 pages of fantastic catering menus to choose from for your event! Once on-site you can enjoy an outdoor pool, laundry facilities, dry cleaning services (sent off property), room service, business and small fitness center, comp WIFI, local and 800 calls and 3-pet friendly rooms. There are 3 exterior entrances located around the building with key card access only to help with the longer hallways. Guest room amenities include the soft/firm pillows, one cup coffee makers, microwaves and refrigerators available upon request. This hotel is also a stop for the Dover Downs Casino shuttle on the weekends beginning at 4:00pm. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler whether a business meeting or any leisure group especially family reunions, weddings or sports teams.
