We are a newly renovated (2010) property. We offer a deluxe hot breakfast that features items such as eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, omelets, bagels, muffins, and so much more. Our hotel also features a refreshing outdoor pool and spa that is great for catching sun. The rooms are the largest in Sherman and feature separate living and sleeping areas. In the living area you will enjoy marble countertops, sofas, microwaves, refrigerators, breakfast table, and 25" television. Once you step into our sleeping room you will find the most comfortable Denver Mattress with a double pillow top. We also have luxurious bedding for a restful nights sleep. If you are looking to get some work done we have large desks that are more than enough space to spread out your next project or presentation. Having had bad experiences in the past with properties in this price range, I tend to avoid the. However, this destination seemed to only have lodgings in this price category. Given some of the reviews I was expecting mediocre. Far from it!! I have to give this property 3 stars. Why? Because it was clean, linens were fresh and clean; the unit furnished as good or better than the higher priced chains. The staff was pleasant and more than helpful. There are 2 caveats though. There is no elevator to the second floor and that's where the rooms with king sized beds are. It should be noted on their web site. And the doors to the rooms all look to have been jimmied at least a couple of times each, some worse than others. They don't give you a warm and fuzzy feeling of security. Other than that, a good value for the money. « less

This property advertises itself as being handicap accessible.. It fails at that. There are two sets of heavy manual pull doors to enter. Once you've made it into the lobby, if you can, you have to negotiate another pull door to get into the hallway to the rooms. The room is a labyrinth of too plentiful and uninteligently placed furniture. If you want to exit the room to ask the front desk to have someone remove some of the furniture, you have another travail. The room door has such a strong door closing mechanism that you will burn to a crisp in the event of a fire before you can get out. The staff, on the other hand, was wonderful. And, if you're disabled and manage to negotiate the barriers to get to breakfast, it's pretty good. « less

My Husband and I along with 2 grandchildren recently stayed at this property. We were in town for a dear friends funeral. The hotel is clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Parking late at night,, as for most places ,can be a challenge. We requested 1st floor do to health issues and it was no problem even on a 2 day notice. The entire property is non smoking and we appreciated that. We have 2 asthmatics in the family. We stayed in a mini suite. 2 queen beds, Sofa(pull out) coffee table, desk mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was pleasantly sized The bath towels were very thick and soft for not being at a resort.The beds were VERYcomfortable, AC worked great. It was the middle of July in Texas..The room was large and the swiveling flat screen TV was great. The desk made sure to clarify the street name which is different than what is on the website..Michelle St. I think was the name. The complimentary breakfast was very pleasant. The ladies attending were very helpful. My granddaughter loved helping to make her own Texas shaped waffle. My husband was happy with the eggs, sausage and picante sauce. He wished there was gravy for the biscuits but he didn't complain. Cereal, danish, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, ice water all available. The television was on the news and the adults appreciated that. The hotel is convienently located off the freeway. If we need to stay in Sherman again you can bet we'll stay here. « less
