Would have rated average had we not needed to request another room because of the above problem. Saw a bug in the second room given. Could be a really nice hotel if serious attention given to making repairs and extermination problems. Overpriced for the area.

"Will never stay at a Clarion Inn again!"

We were lied to about shuttles to and from Bridge Run in Charleston SC and were stranded for over an hour when we finally had to pay for a taxi to get back to Clarion Inn on Dorchester. The staff never offered an apology, just kept saying it was a free service and we explained it was a drawing factor that helped our decision on where to stay. They laughed about it. I asked when booking our room about shuttles and two more times to make sure we were going to be taken care of and I was assured there were shuttle buses. The buses turned out to be a van, a local taxi co. mini van and a manager SUV. In our group three of us were stranded but I know for a fact there were 25 people stranded. I will never stay at Clarion Inn nor any other franchise with which this company is affiliated.

"Still trying to sort out the charges for the room"

Worked with the director of sales, had to cancel 10 rooms of the 62 three days before arrival. 27 of the rooms were charged in single transactions without taxes, the taxes when added separately on my credit card. Haven't seen a credit on my credit card yet for all the over charges. The hotel hasn't figured out how many hotel rooms they had rented. I had 52 rooms occupied, they claim it was more, just because had to switch out players due to injuries.
