By far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The conveniences of home along with the building of community. Abby was our Manager on Duty that we dealt with mostly. She was baking cookies for everyone in the community room (lobby). It was as if she was inviting us into her home to stay. The Socials that they had in the evening were so awesome! Everyone comes together and has some snacks and drinks. The breakfast was great as well. When you are busy it is nice to be able to grab something on your way out. Definitely a place we will stay again. In fact we may look for Staybridge where ever we go! « less

During a busines trip I stayed at the Staybridge Suies in Louisville. After a delayed flight and long day of travel and meetings the Staybridge Suites was a welcoming sight. The hostess was pleasant and had a welcoming smile. When I arrived in my room I was pleasantly surprised at how spaciousness of the suite. It had a full kitchen including a dishwasher. Nice king size bed with attractive bed linens. The sitting area was a nice addition to the room. The complmentary breakfast was nice with a variaty of fruit, yoguart and cereal. I can not say enough about this well manged and maintained Staybridge. I will let all my friends and family know that if they are staying in Louisville check in to the Staybridge Suites. « less

I stayed here for the NWBA National Championships this year and the experience was absolutely horrible. The rooms were not the rooms that i had booked, They instead of giving me the two queen bed suite gave me a king and a pull out. They said that they were sold out of the other rooms, but i know for a fact that they were not because one of my child's teammates that arrived later got a 2 queen bed room. The breakfast that was served every morning was not made available in a timely manner, being over thirty minutes late on that Friday.The bathrooms in the suites should be entirely rebuilt, the shower curtain kept falling down, there were cracks in the shower stall, and the doorways are not ADA complacent. My mother and father flew in to watch their grandchild play and stayed at the Crowne Plaza, the hotel next to the airport. We actually had to stay in their room a couple of nights because it was more accessible for my child. Needless to say next year i will not be stayign at the Staybidge Suites. « less

I was in Louisville for 5 days with my daughter's wheelchair basketball team for a national tournament. All the recommended hotels had been sold out, but one of our team moms found the Staybridge and booked a block of rooms. As team treasurer, I did a lot of preliminary work with the staff in setting up arrangements and found them to be very helpful. Once we arrived, we were overwhelmed by their hospitality. Abby, Melissa, Chelcy and AJ were all terrific. They answered all our questions, provided maps to all of our families, restaurant recommendations, and lots of toothbrushes for those of us whose luggage was delayed. The free laundry facilities were a pleasant surprise, as was the evening meals during the week. The lounge downstairs was very comfortable, as were the suites. Great linens, more than sufficient kitchens, comfortable rooms and again, TERRIFIC service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area. « less

I waivered between a 3 and a four rating. The front desk was terrific, the layout of the room was great (we had a double bed and a double pull out couch), and the complimentary breakfast was way better than usual for a hotel. Unfortunately, we had a smoking room - with no non-smoking rooms available when we were there - which we didn't realize when we booked. It was very clean, but the smoke smell permeated everything. Luckily, the third floor room windows did open and it was a pretty spring day, so we could air it out during the daytime. At night however, too chilly, and the smoky smell made it hard to sleep. If we could have experienced a smoke free room, I'm sure this would have been a 4 star or higher instead. « less
