Location. Buxted House is located in Buxted, England, within 12 miles of Glyndebourne Opera Festival and the town of Haywards Heath. Buxted train station is located one mile from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Buxted House is a two storey hotel set in a Georgian Palladian mansion amid 312 acres of private parkland and formal gardens. The River Uck traverses the hotels grounds and 3.5 acres of lakes are available for guests to enjoy.
The Dining Room serves a breakfast (complimentary), lunch and dinner daily and a three course roast lunch is served every Sunday. Guests can enjoy cocktails and light meals daily in the Crystal Bar, while sitting in leather chairs beneath the two metre wide crystal chandelier.

Getting there. The best way to reach Buxted House is on the regional train service into Buxted, located one mile from the hotel. Taxis are available outside Gatwick and cost approximately 45 GBP.
Getting around. The village of Buxted is compact and easily explored on foot. There is a train station in the city centre that links the village to the rest of the country. A car is useful for exploring further afield.
Driving directions. From Gatwick Airport.
Take the M23 out of the airport.
Exit at J10 to A244.
Continue approximately 12 miles.
At Blackdown roundabout take first exit A26.
At Budletts roundabout join A272.
Continue on to Buxted.
Hotel is on the right hand side before the village.
