I chose this hotel primarily due to its proximity to the train station and resonable prices. I was pleasantly surprised by how much my wife and I liked the place. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a little small but very clean and well appointed. The location was excellent within close walking distance of the main train station and not that far from the town center. Its a nice plus that you have a great view of the old city gate just outside the hotel entrance. Finally, there's a fantastic pub/restaurant just around the corner called Im Alten Zollhaus. I'd recommend this hotel for a short stay in Aachen. « less

The location is excellent, the hotel is right next to the main train station and easy to reach. A nice 5-minute walk brings you to the heart of town. Breakfast was a bit expensive compared to the variety of choice. « less
