My husband and I stayed at the Ritz with the Advantage Golf School. We have stayed at other Ritz properties and this one did not disappoint.
The staff were exceptional starting with Stephanie at the front desk. We had to wait a bit for the room to be ready. We were a bit early when checking in. She was able to upgrade us to a suite as part of my Platinum Amex card and I truly appreciated the fact she went above and beyond with that.
The suite was divine. Truly awesome corner rooms, there were two. And two balconies, one off the bedroom. A walk in closet and very large bathroom with separate shower and a water closet.
The service at the pool was also very good. When my husband went to the grill at the golf course, the server, Jason, arranged a table away from the eating area so he and a friend could enjoy a cigar and not disturb the other guests.
The lunch at the grill was very good and the grouper sandwich is excellent.
We used the fitness center a few times which was huge, with a lot of current equipment. Very nice.
The only down side is this is also a convention center. There was a large conventional also taking place and the attendees overtook the lobby bar one afternoon. It was a challenge finding a seat and a server at that time.

This is the second time I have visited this hotel and I can honestly say from the valet parking staff, reception, concierge, restaurant and bar and housekeeping, this hotel is first class! I have visited Orlando many times and for many years and this hotel beats them all. I won't use any other hotel now and it will always be the Ritz Carlton for me and my family. « less

Stayed here getting mentally ready for a 5 day Disney visit with little grandchildren. After one day we were very relaxed and ready to move on to Magic Kingdom! Great hotel with a staff that is very much in tune with guests' needs wants. Buffet breakfast was delicious - loved the house-smoked Scottish salmon. Huge pool is very well designed to accommodate guests of all ages/needs. An adult only pool with marked lanes is located behind the gorgeous spa/fitness center. The spa is three stories high - largest Ritz spa in the world! The listing of spa services is totally amazing. We had a great salad for lunch at Blue, the terrace restaurant, and were happy to have chosen a filet for dinner at the Vineyard. Shorts will not cut it at Vineyard, and you may want to dress up a bit at Norman's. Wonderful hotel, spacious rooms and great beds. Will definitely return. « less

Stayed here May 2013. On arrival we were amazed at the beauty of the grounds and how impressive the hotel looked. We had a luxury pool view room and were not disappointed. The hotel itself is classy and luxurious (defo bring some nice evening attire!) the rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. The staff were amazing and the service was second to none, polite, attentive and efficient. The food in all the restaurants was delicious - especially primo and the vineyard grill (if you stay here try the vineyard grills potato au gratin, even better than the steak!!) drinks were reasonably priced and serving we're generous! Only thing that ruined our holiday was the thunderstorms but the staff and hotel more than made up for it. Words truelycant explain how amazing this hotel is. I will definitely be returning! « less

My husband and I stayed at the Ritz Carleton in March for our wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time! The Spa, the restaurants, the concierge and the golf course all went above an beyond to make our time amazing. We were especially thankful for the service at the spa where we had fabulous treatments and excellent service for lunch by Jamie. We had a delicious dinner at Norman's. We feel that the chef at Norman's really catches the spirit of Florida in his dishes. Everything we had was delicious. The next morning we had Sunday brunch. There were so many different types of foods and food stations, we were amazed! Highly recommend. « less
