Hôtel Place d’Armes is Old Montreal’s first boutique hotel that is only a few steps away from the Notre Dame Basilica, the Montreal Convention Centre and within walking distance of downtown Montreal. This hotel is merging old and new together in a sophisticated way. The property is in a historic building when you enter the hotel you are greeted by a elegant modern lobby with high ceilings and check in area. The grandiose lobby leads to the Japanese Restaurant, an English Pub and a library with fireplace. Hotel guests enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese cocktail. 44 luxurious rooms and four suites are are nicely furnished and are featuring a brick wall. All guest rooms are equipped with guest amenities like complimentary High speed Internet, safety deposit box and mini bars. The luxurious bathrooms, many of which have double jacuzzis, are designed with black and white marble tiles. There is a conference room with natural light along the rooftop fitness center and terrace.

Property Description

Open in June 2000, Hôtel Place d’Armes is Old Montreal’s first boutique hotel. Its 44 luxurious rooms and 4 breathtaking mezzanine suites will surely charm you. Set in a historic Old Montreal building, it is only a few steps away from the Notre-Dame Basilica, the Montreal Convention Centre and the Old Port, and within walking distance of downtown Montreal. Its sober and elegant décor blends the opulent and classic elements of the 1880 structure with modern minimalist touches. The intricate woodwork and brick walls add warmth to the guest rooms, which are furnished in custom-made cherry wood Quebec creations designed by the Hotel’s designer, Viateur Micahud. Along with their 200-thread count sheets, Frette towels and terrycloth bathrobes, and goose down comforters and pillows, all guest rooms are equipped with complimentary High-speed Internet, CD player, two multi-line telephones, including one cordless, electronic safety deposit box, and gourmet mini-bars with Valrhona chocolates. Our luxurious bathrooms, many of which have double Jacuzzis, are designed with black and white marble tiles and are equipped with upscale Fruits & Passion bath amenities. During their stay, hotel guests enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese cocktail in the grandiose Hôtel Place d’Armes lobby. Valet parking, room service and massages are also available, along with access to the rooftop fitness centre and terrace.
