The continental breakfast is good - Bev, the hostess, is super nice and helpful. The pool is waaaay over chlorinated, my eyes were red and itchy after five minutes of watching my boys swim. This hotel still has smoking rooms, so if you are sensitive to smoke, be careful. Our room did not smell like smoke at all, but it smelled a lot in the hall outside if our room. Bed was very comfy! « less

we just stayed the weekend at this hotel and had a awesome experience the rooms were clean the staff was wonderful and friendly especially Bev the breakfast attendant she went over and beyond to make you feel at home and welcomed at this hotel!! !We were all really impressed with the breakfast that was available biscuits and gravy sausage eggs waffles and much much more!!! We will stay in the hotel on future trips to Cincinnati. « less

I will make this a very short review....because TripAdvisor said my "original" attempt didn't meet their guidelines. I feel the hotel didn't like the review originally posted??? We paid for two rooms in this hotel a few weeks ago, and people in both of our rooms didn't get any sleep at all because of fighting, swearing and screaming in a room nearby that went on until after 4am. The office desk was called twice and assured us that law enforcement had been called. We never saw police arrive. The next morning, the management only took $20 off of our bill for each room. We essentially paid $50 per room for no sleep. While we know the hotel had no way of knowing that the people in the nearby room would be disruptive, we feel we should have been able to have, at least, had the opportunity to have a restful night of sleep ourselves. « less

My kids and I stayed the night. And it was clean and quiet. The staff helpful and friendly. My kids got up for school and they love the breakfast bar the hotel has to offer. We got in the pool it was ok ,it was cold when we got out and went running thru the hall trying to get to are room to change. Its the first hotel that has a heated pool and no heat in the halls to keep you "comfort" from pool to room. Over all it was ok. We are not sick from the pool to room dash! « less

I didn't see any evidence of anything being substandard as some reviews have stated. Everything in the king suite was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The room was non-smoking and had no smoke odor. The stairwell did smell of smoke, but I think that was from another floor where they allow smoking. The breakfast had plenty to fuel me up for the day. They had skim milk and Activia. The only thing I missed were bananas. As others have mentioned, the staff was wonderful, especially the breakfast attendant. I was pleased that the air/heat unit had a fan that ran at all times, providing some good white noise to help me sleep. The units that cycle on and off all night really reduce the quality of sleep. The shower was fine and drained well. The conditions I found at this location indicate a staff attitude of "We want to do this right!" There are many good shopping and restaurant opportunities, many within walking distance. I didn't try the pool or fitness center, but I did notice that the pool didn't have a spa. If you like optical illusions, the hallway carpet will be a real treat. « less
