The GrandResort is a modern property built in 1992, set in lush, green gardens next to a sandy beach, 11 kilometres from the centre of Limassol. The 255 guestrooms over six floors have light decor and sliding glass doors leading to balconies. All rooms have satellite television, dial up and high speed Internet connections, direct dial phones, video game consoles, minibars and complimentary flowers and a bottle of local wine. Bathrooms include robes and designer toiletries.
The hotel has an outdoor freshwater pool and a separate children's pool, both of which are heated in winter, as well as a heated indoor pool. Sushi and teppanyaki dishes are served in the Japanese restaurant, and the open air Kohili Seafood Restaurant is set outdoors among palms and offers fusion dishes prepared with fresh fish and seafood. The hotel also features a poolside bar, and guests can enjoy cocktails, water pipes, live music and sea views in the lounge. Younger guests can head to the onsite playground, and will be kept amused at the kids' club during the summer season. Complimentary high speed wireless Internet access is available in public areas. Other amenities include 24 hour room service, currency exchange, hair salon and dry cleaning services. Motorists will find complimentary secure parking facilities on site. Those interested in the area's history can visit the archaeological site at Amathouss, one kilometre away, or the castles of Kolossi and Limassol, both of which are within 20 kilometres. Larnaca International Airport is 65 kilometres from the hotel, an approximate driving time of 35 minutes.

Buses are reasonably priced and connect most of the main points on the island. Alternatively, many visitors choose to rent bicycles to explore the island's attractions. Taxis are available from the airport and charge around CYP25 to the hotel.
