The Grand Hotel Wien is ideally located in a City Palais on the Boulevard Ringstraße, only a stroll from the Vienna State Opera and the grandeur of St. Stephen's Cathedral. Originally opened in 1870 as the first Grand Hotel in Austria, the hotel was reopened after a complete reconstruction in the year 1994. The Grand Hotel Wien belongs to the Leading Hotels Of The World and the Condé Nast Traveler Gold List 2006. Up to 350 parking spaces are available in the in house car park with direct access to the Hotel. Particularly loved is the famous “Ringstraßen Gallerie”, a luxurious shopping arcarde. In the Hotel Lobby an own entrance guarantees unique shopping pleasure. The Hotel offers 205 rooms and suites, luxuriously furnished and tastefully decorated. Exquisite fabrics and rare antiques add to the Grand Hotel's unique splendour. On the Rooftop Floor our guests have a choice between our award-winning French Gourmet Restaurant “Le Ciel” (2 Hats “Gault Milleau”) and the Japanese Speciality Restaurant “Unkai” (2 Hats “Gault Milleau”). Both Restaurants feature private dinning areas for up to 20 Pax. In the summertime the only Hotel Rooftop Terrace in Vienna offers an amazing view over the imperial city while dinning. To complete the product, our Viennese Restaurant “Grand Café”, the Café “Rosengarten” with Terrace and the Cocktailbar “Kavalierbar” offer our guests Hideaways for every taste. The Grand Hotel Wien offers six banqueting rooms for various events: conferences, meetings, and banquets as well as balls and private festivities, all of them arranged according to your individual wishes. The “Quadrille” ballroom presents itself in the style and the elegance of “Belle Epoque” with crystal chandeliers, wall covering made of hand-woven damask, and precious woods in a harmonious symbiosis with state-of-the-art conference technology. Conferences with simultaneous interpreting, product presentations with light shows, and press conferences will find an ideal backdrop here. Our ballroom – located on the 2nd banquet floor - is also perfectly suited for weddings in grand style. We can arrange festivities for up to 300 persons here. The Galerie is located on the 1st banquet floor and derives its name from the fact that one wall can be completely opened to view the ballroom, which is located on the floor beneath. Both rooms can be rented in combination. The three Salons are located on the first banquet floor of the hotel and can be rented individually or in combination with each other. The Executive Meeting Room is located on the 6th floor of the Grand Hotel Wien, and presents the atmosphere of an English Club.
