My family and I stayed here the first weekend of May. I got the room through the "name your price" on Priceline. After reading come of the other reviews here, I was a bit nervous (dirty rooms, unfriendly staff, valet parking). However, after arriving at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised.
The staff was extremely friendly. The valet and bell staff were great. When checking in, the girl at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we knew what was in the hotel and surrounding areas (food, etc).
Our room was great. We stayed on the second floor and it appeared to be recently remodeled. Not outdated at all and very clean. Our kids enjoyed the stay too.
I'll definitely be back here next time I'm in the Cleveland area. Great hotel as far as I'm concerned. « less

I have stayed at the Hyatt "Arcade" in Cleveland a few times while visiting Cleveland. This hotel is in a great location if you are in town for pleasure or sight seeing! Tons of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues directly outside the back door!! Short walk to casino, sporting events and the rest the city has to offer. Spa inside arcade is very nice and prices were very resonable. Hotel itself is a beautiful building with fantastic architecture! The staff was very friendly and I felt very safe in the hotel. The rooms can be quite small. During our last visit we upgraded rooms and it was worth the extra money... lots of extra space. I DEFINITELY recommend this hotel. « less

If nostalgia is your strong suit, the Hyatt is the place to go. You will enjoy the century old architecture, and the stores inside the arcade as well as restaurants in close proximity to the establishment. I did not have time or leisure to sample much since the reason for this trip was a wedding, which turned out to take care of most of the food department.
Within the arcade, you will find an excellent (but very expensive) beauty salon, a fun variety store called The Runway, a coin and stamp collectors shop which I didn't visit, but would have had time not been at a premium along with several eateries.
In contrast to Yesindedes review, my spacious room and 1/2 ( which included a sitting room w/desk & lamp) was sparkling clean, as was the bathroom. Someone did a very nice job during the three days and nights of my stay.
One more tip - you will likely be advised to take a cab (reportedly about $35 w/o tip) from the airport. Thanks to some very helpful people, I made it to and from that facility for the princely sum of $1.00 per one way trip. It will run you $4.50 if you have the misfortune of not being considered "old!" « less

We ( 3 adults) stayed here the first week- end of April 2013. The arcade was beautiful, but hardly any stores were open. The room was filthy! The tops of every surface had a THICK layer of dust. Being in the cleaning business, this room has not been properly cleaned in over 6-12 months. This includes top of bed ,tv, window sills and drapes. The chairs in the room had stains and the sheets had holes in them. The bathroom had major dirt behind door and under vanity. Our sinus were bothered from the poor cleaning of this room. We had 7 other rooms in our party and I inspected each of them with the same results. I've had cleaner rooms at the Days Inn. Would not recommend this hotel. Very over rated. « less
