The bathroom was nearly as clean as I would have in my own apartment. The shower was old and out of date and could have used repair, but it had the "chemical clean" that I like. As is typical with this type of hotel, they clearly do not vacuum their carpets. I always find this disgusting, but it is quite standard. The bedding was clean, but lacked that "hospital bed" feel (well made etc.).
Overall, the place was quite acceptable for the price and the bathroom and bed was above average for an hotel of this level. « less

Breakfast included yogurt and fruit, in addition to standard continental fare - good for gluten-free diets. Reserved using hotel chain's website to get the best rate. « less

Bed was a bit hard but we still atually slept well. We just asked for an extra pillow and that gave us each an extra one and made us comfortable. We had a king room, so having the recliner was nice. It offered something other than sitting on the bed. The maid service was below par. We stayed 4 nights. The 2nd morning I put the card out for service right away and they didn't come til very late in the day and only changed out our towels. The 3rd morning the maid came while we were in our room, asked if we needed anything and we said yes. We should have been more specific. She only changed out our towels (did not make the bed or check the outer garbage) and did not leave us with an extra roll of TP. I had to go to the front desk to get one. Front desk staff was great. Location was great and several restaurants and a gas station right by the hotel. Easy access to highways. « less
