Location. The modern Best Western Hotel St Raphael is located 600 metres from the Alster Lake and one kilometre from Hamburg's main art gallery and the Spitaler Strasse Shopping Centre. The nearest airport is Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel (HAM) 11 kilometres away, around 30 minutes by car.

Getting there. Taxi services to the hotel take approximately 30 minutes and cost around EUR 25. Airport Express runs bus services to Hamburg central station every 15 minutes from Terminals 1 and 2; tickets cost 5 EUR one way and the trip takes 25 minutes. Bus 110 connects the terminals with the nearby Ohlsdorf U Bahn/S Bahn station every 10 minutes, then take the U1 (blue line) to U Bahn station Hauptbahnhof Süd; tickets cost 3 EUR and can be bought from the bus driver. All prices are subject to change.
Driving directions. From Hamburg Fuhlsbüttel Airport, take Flughafenstrasse, then turn right onto Alsterkrugchaussee, also called highway B433. Go about 800 metres and then turn left onto Hindenburgstrasse. Continue straight. Hinderburgstrasse becomes Barmbekerstrasse (highway B5) and then Bachstrasse, Herderstrasse, Winterhuderweg, Lerchenfeld, Landwehr and finally Burgstrasse; these streets are all part of the B5 highway and the combined distance is about 8 kilometres. Turn right onto Borgfelderstrasse and go straight for 900 metres. The hotel is on the right.
