I saw this Days Inn advertised in a coupon book for $49 a night with U-Haul Truck parking and a hot breakfast with biscuits an gravy. Since I was driving a rental truck pulling a car, I checked it out. The room was adequate with a sofa, desk and chair, microwave, fridge, coffee pot and ironing board. Bed was a little soft but not too bad. Upon checking in, the desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful. When I asked about parking my truck, she indicated there was a spot on a side street for large trucks. Since I did not want to park my truck and car there, I asked about parking in front of the pool where there were streets lights and she said that would be ok. The room was large, it's an older Days Inn, but clean with a flat screen tv on the wall, limited cable channels but it was only for 1 night. The price was right for 2 of us, I was traveling with my 4 yr old granddaughter, and the king size bed was perfect for my needs. I did not like the door only had a chain, not a swing over bar, but it felt secure. I dwas highly disappointed though when we went down for breakfast the next morning. I had asked the night before about the advertised breakfast and the desk clerk told me there would be biscuits and gravy, cereal, waffles, muffins, fresh fruit, etc. I cannot not eat sweets for breakfast so I was looking forward to the biscuits and gravy, but low and behold, there weren't any. When I inquired from the day time desk clerk, she said it was most likely due to occupancy. Like what would that have to do with anything? She said the lady who set breakfast up was gone, she could not ask anyone else on the property about it so I paid for a amenity I did not get, not happy about that. Also, in today's world, most motel/hotels have wised up that they need to offer choices for diabetics, like sugar free syrup for the waffles, but of course, there was none. There was also no fresh fruit. Very disappointed. What was advertised was not available and should have been. « less

Absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Room 123 nonsmoking room had burn holes in the filthy carpet. One of the headboards had been colored on in black marker. The faucet dripped. One of the dresser drawers was broken and falling out. Paint was peeling off the vent in the bathroom. The tiles in the bathroom ceiling were bent out of shape. The box springs were falling apart. If it weren't so late when we arrived we would have gone somewhere else. The desk clerk complained about everything from the printer to the stapler and even used the word "retarded" VERY unprofessional. OH YEAH the police were also called because of fighting in the parking lot while we where trying to sleep and a woman on the 2nd floor was taking her clothes off on the balcony. I have pictures of this room 123. I WANT A REFUND!!!!! « less
