Hotel is clean, functional, and the architecture is funny (but not beautiful). Hotel is located in border of the city center, so that city center can be reached easily by foot.
Breakfast is at the last top level, with a view on all the city (unfortunately the city does not have a stunning view to offer !...). Breakfast buffet is good, with a wide choice of fresh products. « less

But it's so unfortunate to notice that there's no air-conditioning in the room ? When it's hot outside (or even by mild temperatures) the room temperature becomes too high for a good sleep. OK, you can open the window, but it's located next to a busy road (certainly in the morning) so this causes discomfort.
In winter times this can be a good alternative for other hotels in the region. « less

Traveling for business, I often appreciate functionality and comforts more than many aesthetic aspects. Being my first time in this hotel, I was ready to any surprise but at the end, in general it was a positive surprise. I do not know the town of Frankenthal but I decided to stay here because in the middle between 2 business visits. For what is concerning the hotel, I had very positive impressions: the building is very nice with a curious tower-shaped structure, clean and nice furnished, whit all possible comforts, fitness area, WiFi, a wonderful breakfast room on the top of the house. Also the personnel is very friendly and helpful, both at the front desk as well as at the bar etc. Only negative impressions: I didn't find air conditioning in the room, which might be quite unpleasant in the warm season. During my stay, for example, the weather was generally not extremely hot and though in August, the day was quite fresh for the season (approx 20/22 °C) but being my room oriented to south, I could sleep only thanks to the open window during the night. Other negative remark: it looks, there's no restaurant in the house. You can have something warm to eat sitting at the table in the bar, prepared by the helpful willing personnel, small and easy things chosen among the international and local specialties. « less

Funny how some people rate a hotel and give it bootom marks just because the rooms haven't got vaults where they can safely put away their precious lap tops. « less
