My daughter and I stayed 2 nights here after spending the previous weekend with her Girl Scout troop at Camp Low for a trip to Savannah and Tybee Island. We did not like the camp (too many huge bugs, the cabins' screened windows let in too much Spring-time pollen, so we didn't get much rest there), so this hotel was a heavenly haven after staying at that camp.
This hotel looks like it's been recently renovated. The carpet, tiles, bathrooms, walls, mattresses (yes, I always check underneath the fitted sheets!) and linens were all very clean. The bathroom had a big walk-in shower (no tub) with a glass door, and the water was nice and hot with strong power. The bathroom's design made an excellent use of room with a pocket door instead of a regular door. The beds and pillows were comfy (4 pillows per bed). A one-cup coffee maker was in the room, along with a hair dryer. The A/C worked quietly and efficiently. Although the breakfast in the lobby was free, we did take advantage of the Cracker Barrel next door for breakfast one morning.
Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping our room clean and tidy, and both the housekeeping and front-desk staff were extremely kind and helpful.
The pool is outside and was actually being uncovered and prepared for the Spring/Summer season while we were there, so we couldn't use it. However, the front desk clerk said we could try to use the indoor pool at the Country Inn & Suites down the road, since that is their "sister company." We didn't take advantage of the offer as we didn't have time really to swim, but I thought the gesture was a nice one.
Cons: The breakfast sausages were very greasy and left to marinate in a pool of grease in the serving dish. No bananas, but plenty of apples. You can make your own waffles, but other choices are limited. Only four tables at which to sit, and these tables were somewhat crammed together.
The only flaws in the room were a crack in the sink and our room didn't have an alarm clock (or any clock for that matter)! I didn't ask for one.
Although there is a large front staircase, there is no elevator, so we had to lug our things up/down the stairs (and I noticed housekeeping having to lug bags of garbage down the stairs and bags of linens up the stairs). Thankfully, this hotel has only 2 floors.
Despite these few flaws, this hotel was definitely worth the very reasonable price. In addition, the hotel was only about a 15-minute drive to Savannah's Historic District. We would stay here again for an economic trip. « less

This was our first Sleep Inn stay. Room was smaller than a normal room (Comfort Inn). We still had a fridge and king bed. Bed was very good,TV was old. Stand up shower was good. Room was clean. Bed is very close to A/C unit. Breakfast was same as most hotels with quality and cleanliness all fine. Entry ways to hotel were a little tired. « less

Had a coupon for $50, when we arrived they said they couldn't honor the coupon because of "availability." Even though they had a room available. (And no, they didn't say only some rooms were available at that price.) They advertised hot breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausage. They had a vat of gravy for buiscuits and cold, old-looking hard boiled eggs. Watered-down OJ. The O-shaped cereal was excellent. Room fairly well-appointed but stuffy-smelling, mold on roof of bathroom. Nice glass door on shower, but the shower stall was strange -- looked like it was inspired by--and installed shortly after the theatrical release if--"2001: A Space Odyssey." « less

The hotel is fine for $65 per night. The rooms are small and the bed was clean. I was traveling for business and I just needed to lay my head down for a night. It's definitely not a place I would spend more than 1 night in or bring the family to.
The soap looked very funny and discolored. Thats when i realized I that the soap was recycled. gross! The plastic wrapper it comes in is just smoke and mirrors.
Again, for $65 what can you expect other than general dumpy accommodations. « less
