Fantastic hotel! Stayed 5 nights as part of a conference. Very comfortable bed, large bathroom with plenty of storage. Really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. Free internet if you register for their guest rewards program in advance. Great Gaslamp location close to lots of good restaurants, easy 5 min. walk to the Convention Center, and it overlooks Petco Park. Fun to see the game & ballpark from your room. Rooms on the convention center side overlook the train tracks----a little loud at 2am when the train went by, which could bother light sleepers. Otherwise a great place. « less

Negatives- a lot of noise from traffic on north side facing the ball park, window glass kind of thin for a newer hotel. Pool has no changing area, so you grab a lobby bathroom or drip in the elevator. Limited hooks in bathroom. Dirty plates left in hall most of the day. Expensive- but you get what you pay for. « less
