Breakfast was very good The gentleman making the eggs noticed they were low and offered to make fresh eggs for me and my son. And the gentleman in the breakfast area was so friendly. I was disappointed I did not go back on my last day. we decided to go to Ihop arcoss the way and it was the worst expeirence. « less

The hotel room was very nice and clean. The front desk staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast was a different story, I witnessed restaurant touch food with bare un-washed hands after bussing tables. The tables were not cleaned to my liking. Most of the crumbs were simply pushed to the floor and place mats were not even moved. There was still visible crumbs and milk on a table that was cleaned by the staff. I was not a picky eater, but after this experience I will be. « less

The Hilton Garden Inn is a fantastic place to stay. The hotel staff are courteous and helpful. Like all humans, some mistakes are made, but they do everything possible to correct mistakes and quickly and efficiently and possible. OK, so it's not on the beach front, the beach front is only a 10 minute drive away. There is plenty of activities within walking distance. I would absolutely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn to anyone who is planning a visit to Virginia Beach. « less
