The room was good and had everything we needed for 1 night. Only disadvantage was the smell. It smelled as if someone had taken a few smokes inside the room. Rest was fine. « less

If you are looking for a good hotel near the manatees, this is your place! There is no better location for this adventure. The boat that takes you out for snorkeling is within walking distance. The hotel itself is nice, quiet, clean and some rooms have balcony (you see the ocean) and hot tub. Staff is friendly and helpful, you even get full breakfast early (because you will leave early for the boattrip). We just likes it and felt well :-) « less

I wanted to stay close to the river, with manatee tours nearby.hotel was ok but AC noisy. We had a verandah on ground floor but next to bushes and flying insects so we did not use it apart from drying swim gear. Breakfast was excellent - loved the waffles! Pool and spa excellent. It was a quiet time of year so the hotel Was not too busy. April not a good time to look for manatees most have gone back busyto sea for the summer. But I saw 3 when out with lodge dive shop right on site. However, a much better trip Was with Plantation so I would recommend that company. « less

We were flying to GA and stopped at the Crystal River Airport because of a fast moving storm. We were not able to leave so we called them and they held the room, the last king nonsmoking, until we could get a taxi to get there. We checked in with no problems. Room was nice and comfortable. Sunday morning the breakfast was great but we could not get a cab back to the airport. There were 2 other couples also stranded. The hotel mgr, Francis, took it upon herself to get all of us to the airport even tho it was 2 trips! I will stay there again because they actually care!! « less

Stayed at the Best Western Crystal River Resort-rented a pontoon boat from the dive shop on location and snorkeled in the unbelievably beautiful Three Sister location with manatees! Respecting the large animals by viewing them from a distance and having them come to me and not chasing them was wonderful! The hotel made it an easy trip out to see them and after being in the cold spring water the hot tub hit the spot! Crackers next door was a few steps away which also makes this a good hotel location. This was a busy resort but it was kept clean and I did not have any probl;ems checking in or out. « less
