Very nice room and terrific service - they allow you to check in and check out online, and the staff was incredibly helpful when I had trouble getting onto the Internet. Great business hotel - close to all the congressional and federal offices, but also easy walk to all the Smithsonian museums and Pennsylvania Avenue. Plus they have a really terrific restaurant in the hotel - Article One. « less

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill when in Washington for the Nike Women's Half-Marathon, which began and ended only a few blocks away. This hotel is well located and very comfortable. We had no complaints whatsoever, and relly appreciated the location just a few blocks from the Capitol. I would recommend this hotel. « less

We took two rooms for two adult couples from Friday through Sunday in May. The appearance of this hotel is modern, bright, open, and very impressive. The rooms were spacious, clean, and nice firm mattress. Since space in DC is so expensive, especially being two blocks from the Capitol, we understand how the building had to do with limited space. Being only 11 stories tall, the view was basically a dud, but we could walk to Union Station, Capitol, all museums, and good restaurants. Very attentive staff. We paid a very reasonable $126.00 per night. However, I suspect during the week, this place is pricy. We definitely will try this hotel again. « less

It is such a pleasure to hear that you and your friends had an excellent stay at our property. I am glad you found the hotel to be well appointed. It sounds like you really enjoyed your room finding it spacious and clean. We have a great location near the Capitol and many other sights and sounds D.C. has to offer. Your recommendation is greatly appreciated. I look forward to welcoming you back in the near future!

First, let me formally Thank (what I assume is a hotel guest). Ms Purcell was so kind as to buy me a nonalcoholic beverage of my own concoction sugar water, tonic and lime juice, that I so love as an elixir for a hot day while on a business trip in Our Nations Capitol. My tonic sugar water adds a smooth refreshing relief for a weary traveler try it. Notwithstanding security being called to collect for the hotel a four dollar morning cafe, I am quite sure it would have been a pleasant stay. I was asked to leave the premises only to find the McDonalds down the street requires a special golden coin to use the toilette. Is there no hope for our nation at this rate of hospitality. Please pray for Our Nations Commitment to Decency, Respect and Courtesy. As The Capitol please LEAD the way. What an Example? « less

This is not the first time I have been to this hotel but my first review and I have to say i will go back to this hotel anytime. The location is great, good restaurants nearby, the capitol easy walking distance including the amazing museums nearby which unfortunately because I was there on business didn't have time to visit, I just received some blow by blow by other enthusiasts who had the time. When I checked in to the hotel there was some mistake because the room I was given was already occupied but when I went down to the front desk is when the magic began because they immediately fixed the situation with a nice bonus that was really appreciated. The room was very comfortable and a good size, will have to go back the next time while extending my stay and bringing my spouse so we can really appreciate the hospitality. « less

I am glad to hear that you enjoyed your return trip to our hotel. The proximity to restaurants and museums is a great advantage for our guests. Perhaps you will be able to return at some point and visit the nearby museums. I am happy that the front desk was able to sort out the room mix-up so readily and that you found the room so comfortable. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
