Spa resort opened in 2004 in Bük, in the valley of the Repce river, with views over the golf course and landscaped gardens.
The 208 air conditioned guestrooms are decorated in three distinct styles; all have minibars and cable TV with pay movies.
Guests can make use of the Birdland Spa's thermal and hydro massage pools, saunas, steam baths, tepidarium and frigidarium.
The golf and country club features an 18 hole, 72 par championship golf course, with official clubhouse and bar.
This hotel features 208 guestrooms, all of which include air conditioning, cable television, pay movie channels, Internet access (fee), direct dial phones, tea and coffee making facilities and minibars. The Birdland Spa offers thermal and hydro massage pools, saunas and steam baths, and a tepidarium and frigidarium, as well as a swimming pool, children's pool, gym, aerobics room and range of beauty and massage treatments. Staff can tailor fitness regimes and nutritional programs for the individual guest. The hotel has bars in the lobby, club house and pool area. Supervised child care and activities are available and other amenities include complimentary parking and conference rooms. Guests of the Radisson SAS Birdland enjoy a complimentary buffet breakfast each morning. Seasons Themed buffets and Hungarian specialties are on offer in the relaxed ambience of this restaurant, which leads out onto an inviting terrace with views over the golf course. A children's menu is available and live music is performed at weekends. Laguna Serving home made pasta and Italian dishes and a nutritious array of freshly pressed fruit and vegetable juices, the Laguna restaurant has a distinctly Mediterranean feel. From Vienna Airport:
Approximate driving time is 120 minutes and distance is 90 miles / 140 kilometers.
S Bahn overground trains runs at least every 30 minutes connecting the airport to Vienna city center and U Bahn. Buses depart from the airport to the City Air Terminal every 20 minutes. Other buses go to Südbahnhof and Westbahnhof railway stations and also to Bratislava and Budapest. Taxis are available outside the arrivals hall.
By car from Vienna, follow the A2 motorway towards Graz then turn onto the A3 motorway until the Austro Hungarian border. Take road 84 to Ujtker, turn right and follow the road to Bukfurdo.
A car is recommended for exploring the area.
